Public Service Announcement..

Many thanks to a reader of mine, Kako Usi (and also her sister Rianne Usi), for bringing this situation to my attention. Mothers hold a special place in my heart, and anything that we can do to help a mother in need, I’m all for it.

Please bear with me as I share with you the plight of KEARSAY LOW for his beloved mother, Yolly. <3I so admire Kearsay for all that he has been doing for his mom. Not many sons are this dedicated, so I have really taken it upon myself to help him in any way that I can.

I pray that you too, my dear readers, will actively participate not just financially, but also emotionally & psychologically by sending this family messages of comfort & support, and most importantly, PRAYERS.

Let us storm heaven for a miracle. God is good & merciful, I believe that He is working in the hearts of people right now to help this family overcome a great challenge & come out victorious. \m/

Read: Why does God allow suffering?

—

Psalm 22:1: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning?

2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in your weakness”

My mom, Yolly, was diagnosed with stage 3 HER2-positive breast cancer last April. HER2-positive breast cancer is a case that tests positive for a protein called human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) which promotes the growth of cancer cells. This type of breast cancer is more aggressive compared to any other type of breast cancers.

Since June, she has been undergoing chemotherapy and we are now down to her last 2 cycles out of 16. After that, she will undergo breast surgery and will have to take medication for one year + radiation therapy.

My mom has always been my inspiration and has undoubtedly been an inspiration to many outside our immediate family. She has set an amazing example for us and despite not having much, has the most generous of hearts – especially for us, her children.
Amidst her condition, my mom has maintained her refreshingly positive outlook and has strongly believed that she will conquer this battle – and yes, she definitely will! However, we cannot do this alone. We need your support so that we can finance her long-term medical bills. The vials used for every chemotherapy session costs more than P100,000. We have already exhausted our health card benefits and have been borrowing money from people just to provide for the treatment she needs.
We still have a long fight to go and I hope you could partner with us in this battle against the “Big C”. #LabanYolly (I have used this hashtag in all my social media posts about my mom. In Filipino, it literally means “fight, Yolly!”)

I am your long time reader. I know someone who took this mixtures and his stage 4 cancer got cured. No harm in trying, it might help her. Don’t expect the doctor/doctors tell you about this because most of them have ulterior motives (money). Have her son research this on line.
