About Me

Hi. I’m Jane. And this is my life in pictures. 🙂 Sorry but I really love photos of my family & our escapades. The walls of our home are riddled with framed photos in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Reading my blog is like looking over our family albums and you become part of our family.

I’m a mom to 3 beautiful, wonderful children & wife of 20 years to an amazing husband who was my childhood sweetheart. We were together for 8 years before finally tying the knot. We’re truly soul mates & I can’t imagine a life without him in it. I’ve been nothing but happy, content & blessed beyond words with my little family for the past 2 decades and I can only hope & pray that God will give us many more happy, healthy, fruitful years together. <3

I started blogging in 2011 because I wanted to make a journal for the kids to look back on. They grow up so fast that I wanted to capture all our adventures as well as misadventures. 🙂 Times with the kids are always so precious, so we as parents have to make sure we make the most of our time with them. Pretty soon they’ll have worlds of their own & families to take care of. We won’t be needed as much & seen as the most important person in their lives anymore.

I never knew I’d have readers aside from my kids who are ever so supportive of my hobby. My blog has grown so much in the past years & opened so many doors of new friendships & opportunities for me. I can never thank you enough for your love & support. Without you, there is no Sugar & Spice. And I mean that from the bottom of my big, fat heart! <3

PS: You might wonder why I call my hubby Kap. Or Kap K. 😉 It’s short for Kapitan Kunat because he’s one hecka cheapskate haha. But I say that with love. I wouldn’t have him any other way. He really makes me happy & loves me unconditionally. I just like to tease him. That’s how we roll.

Thank you for visiting my blog. And I hope that you’ll be part of our many adventures.

    Hi Jane,

I love your blog. I check everyday if there is a new post. I especially love your posts on your staycations. I am planning our first staycation to celebrate my 14 year old niece’s birthday, and I am using your blog to do some research. I have narrowed our choices to either Crimson or Bellevue, I don’t want to put you on the spot but which one do you prefer, I can’t seem to decided. I want to give my niece a birthday staycation she won’t forget, so I am going to take you advise and avail of the room with club access. I hope you can shed some light on which one I should choose. It will be me, my niece and my 9 year old nephew. Thank you, I hope to hear from you and I can’t wait for you next post on your bongga European vacay 🙂

      Dear Eileen,

Thank you so much for giving value to my opinion, it makes me happy knowing I have your trust. <3

When it comes to best in dining & amenities here in the South, panalo talaga ang Bellevue, walang kapantay.

Best in location though goes to Acacia IF you plan on going around kasi paglabas pa lang dami nang ganap. 🙂

Crimson, tbh, not on my list at all. Kulang sa TLC & the food is meh. Or at least it was, the last time we visited.

If you are willing to go to Makati though, I would really suggest Fairmont (or kung malaki ang budget sa Raffles, lol) Then have an afternoon tea with your 12-year old niece she might like that. Feeling all grown up.

Can I just say? You are such a sweet tita to do this for your niece. I was never close to any of mine so your niece is one lucky gal!

Please greet her a very happy birthday from me & the fambam. Hope to meet you soon Eileen. Mwah!

      Love, Jane

Thank you so much for replying. I felt giddy reading your reply ☺. After reading it I am so glad na I made a reservation na sa Bellevue at one of their signature rooms I think my niece would love that. Super excited na siya.

I love my niece and nephew. I am not married and don’t have kids kaya sila ang happiness ko.

I would love to meet you. Whenever I am in ATC or Southmall in the back of my mind I am hoping to bump into you papapicture talaga ako with you. I love your blog, I can really feel the love you have for your family. Reading it brightens my day. Thanks again.

Hello, Ms. Jane! I am new to your blog having just discovered it accidentally while on facebook. I think it was because of a restaurant thanking you for your review. I enjoyed reading about your family’s trip to Korea. We have been planning to go there in the near future and going through your blog made me even more excited to visit Korea soon. ?
