I started sending out my CHRISTmas gifts 5 days ago. Pagpatak na pagpatak ng December 1, I made my rounds & dropped off gifts to friends who live nearby (the rest I will have to find ways & means to deliver, hello Lalamove!). My kids think it’s overkill, ang aga naman daw ng Pasko ko.

Well, many people I know are going abroad for the holidays, so it’s better to send my tokens ahead of time. Besides, most of my gifts are CHRISTmas decors so its the perfect time to distribute para maisama naman sa display nila! 😛

I got bitten by the Christmas bug early November when Kap & I were invited to the CHRISTmas tree lighting at the Manila Marriott Hotel by lovebirds Mitch & Ariel. Michelle Garcia is the Director of Marketing Communications, while Ariel Arce is Kap’s long-time friend. Once again, for this event, I was Kap’s plus one. ;)) Umaarangkada itong mahal ko ah.

To start the festivities, heavenly CHRISTmas carols were rendered by HIMIG ROSEÑA , Colegio de Sta. Rosa’s official ambassador for choral singing.

King of Scents JOEL CRUZ of AFICIONADO (a leading perfumery manufacturer in the Philippines) & his many, many, MANY children (3 sets of twins plus one) were guests of honor & officially lit the glorious CHRISTmas tree.

Guests were treated to a wonderful surprise after the tree lighting ceremony! A function room was turned into Christmas Wonderland by the fabulous MarCom team.

Mitch & Ariel were so gracious to include the giblings in the invitation, pero umandar ang hiya ko. Parang sobrang “we are family” naman ang dating haha. Upon entering this beautiful Christmas Wonderland though, nagsisi talaga ako why I didn’t drag them along, waaah!

Lots & lots of treats for everyone! <3 This superb event really brought out the inner kid in Kap & me!

Food & drinks were aplenty, hindi maubos-ubos. Everything was just free-flowing. Now THIS is what you call a PARTEY! \m/

Midway through the festivities, Santa came bearing gifts for little kids.

Eh syempre naman, hindi nagpatalo itong mga big kids. Photo op with Santa, Kap even sat on his lap. Ano naman kaya ang hiniling?

When in Manila Marriott Hotel, make sure you pass by the Lobby & buy some CHRISTmas goodies for your loved ones. Manila Marriott Hotel set up its traditional life-size CHRISTmas gingerbread train filled with all things delectable! <3

This edible grandeur is 25 feet long & is made out of 150 kilos of gingerbread dough and 60 kilos of royal icing, big enough to display 15 varieties of Christmas treats and 5 choices of deluxe Holiday Hampers sure to make any recipient squeal with glee (I know I would!).
