Food & Dining Kap & Me My Kids The GOppets

It’s already mid-September!

Hi guys! Grabe, in the blink of an eye, September na pala. I’ve been hiBERnating for quite a while & enjoying my peace & quiet. Biruin mo, pag-gising ko, just like that, the BER months are already here! Parang kailan lang, kaka-pasko. Ngayon, trees are up & carols are playing –pasko na uli sinta ko!

But first things first. How was your summer? It started reeeally late for us. Kids’ school ended May na due to the new US-inspired sked, so mej tag-ulan dumating ang summer namin lol. Alam nyo naman, our life revolves around the kids, so we follow their schedule & suit our activity to theirs.

We didn’t go anywhere this summer vacay kasi nga nag-iipon for our month-long US trip come December. Sobrang madugo talaga lalo na at family of five kami, pero sobrang saya din naman having our 3 precious kids kaya quits lang. ;P

Anyhoo it was also good that we didn’t plan anything for summer at biglang may klase pala the 2 older kids. Ate had to go to school on alternating days for her MBA classes, while Babyson had to go to the lab 2x/week for his thesis – graduating na kasi sya this school year, so spell S-T-R-E-S-S! #blessingindisguise

Maliban sa pasundot-sundot na cheap eats, Kap was able to sneak in a summer getaway, which was our short spell in Quezon. Nakabili si Kap ng lumang jetskis so he had new toys for the kiddos to play with. 😉 Of course, he planned an excursion immediately.

Kap has always been fond of water sports, so when someone sold him old jet skis lying around in the garage, pinatulan nya agad, hay! Of course after buying, he had to test kung umaandar ba. So off we went to Quezon for its pristine beach. Quezon is 5 hours away from Manila.

Awa ng Diyos, umandar naman. 😛

As you know, my maabilidad Honey has friends in all places & stages hehe. One of his (younger) friend’s family owned a private resort in Quezon so he asked if we could rent the place for 3 days. Philip’s family was so hospitable. Not only did they allow us unlimited access to their private resort, they also stayed with us the while time, entertained us, and made sure all of our needs were met! <3

Made a short lunch stopover at Lolo Ompo’s. The kids have a thrill whenever we’d eat native hehe. Tuwang-tuwa sila mamrobinsya.

And just like this barko, I don’t know how often I’ll be blogging again, so expect na lulubog at lilitaw ako depende sa ihip ng hangin at alon ng dagat. ;)) I’ll try to post some more entires after this. Grabe lang talaga ang katamaran ko lately, sorry na.

Lulubog lilitaw ang barko.. parang ako. 😛

So, see ya when I see ya. ‘Til our next kwentuhan! :-*
