Food & Dining Staycations & Vacations The GOppets

Indonesia Day 5

Ewan ko ba kung anong nasaksak sa isip ng mga bata, they want to check out daw the Tanah Abang Textile Market. On a weekend nonetheless! Tapos Holiday pa (Black Saturday). Sigurado nuknukan ng dami ng tao. Pero gusto nila, di gora. Adventure daw, foine.

Homaygas. It’s similar to Divisoria. Mamimili daw sila ng mga pasalubong, ang kinalabasan, kami ni Kap ang namili, lol. Nag-iba ang ihip ng hangin when we saw a store selling nice men’s polo. Kap got a long-sleeved pristine white embroidered dress shirt for a steal for a wedding we’ll be attending. Tuwang-tuwa sya kasi mukhang Barong, at 800 pesos lang! Aba, bigla akong kumambyo.. okay naman pala dito! ;))

Tanah Abang is a vast cluster of shops and stalls selling clothes, textiles, religious items, shoes & many many more. Similar to our very own Divisoria!

I was also able to score a long dress which can pass for an evening gown for only ONE THOUSAND PESOS, homaygas! Sulit ang siksik, tulak, ingay at init. I would have loved to buy more kaso ubos na ang IDR namin. All we had left was USD – na ayaw ko namang galawin so we can use pa on our next trip hehe.

Kap wanted to show us the Plaza Senayan where he & Babyson spent a better part of the afternoon yesterday looking at Seiko watches. Pinagmamalaki nya na maganda daw itong mall na ito at magugustuhan namin. Sige nga?

Sobrang lata na ako from our morning expedition at the Textile Market kaya nagpaiwan na ako sa Reflexology Center. Suko na talaga ako, tinataas ko na ang puting bandila! 😛

The heart is willing to look around & shop, but my old, decrepit body says otherwise.

After my relaxing 1.5 hours at Sanctum Reflexology by Kenko (lalaki ang mga masahista so hard kneading talaga – ang sarap!), at nang masuyod na ng team GOppets ang high-end mall na binibida ni Kap my Kap, we transferred to the more reasonably-priced Lotte Shopping Avenue where we will be killing time before leaving for the airport for our flight back home.

In lieu of the elephant pants, nakabawi naman ako kay pogi when he found 4 shirts to his liking at the Lotte Mall. Sobrang mapili at pihikan sya sa gamit so when he finally sees something he likes, para akong tumama sa lotte, este lotto! 😉

With more than an hour to spare, we went back to our hotel to take yet another refreshing shower & wash off the sludge & stickiness from our hectic day under the sun –at para hindi naman nakakahiya sa mga katabi namin sa eroplano. 😉

The people at Ascott Sudirman are so nice & helpful. I give them a 5-star rating. Thank you Ascott Sudirman!! <3

Kap’s haul. After he explicitly told us “NO SHOPPING”. @_@

Again, thank you Mana for another exciting & fun-filled adventure!! <3 Can’t wait for our Tokyo Christmas Edition. Start planning okay? 🙂 Meron na akong makapal na jacket, I’m SO ready. And thank you syempre my Honey pie for our Holy Week trip!! Love yoooooou! :-*

Thank you again gaize for sharing in our (mis)adventures. Pahinga muna uli ang lowla nyo from blogging ’til our next escapade. Kitakits nalang tayo sa IG. 😉 Please follow me -> @Talesfromtheheart
