Isang Linggong Pag-ibig

People my age, do you remember the era of the Jukebox Queen a.k.a. Imelda Papin? My yayas always had their AM radio on full blast while I was growing up, which may or may not have contributed to my ka-jejehan at ka-bakyaan! So now all these OPM songs have been ingrained in my memory, lol. There’s no escaping it.

As you know, Kap doesn’t like to give me flowers. For some reason, he thinks it’s a waste of money (Personally, I don’t agree. If it gives someone happiness, then it’s not a waste). He gave me a few a while back during our earlier years together, but then he came to his senses and decided flowers are over-rated, especially during Valentine’s when stores jack-up their already sky-high pieces on these declaration of love commodities.

Anyway, sharing with you our convo regarding flowers (or the lack thereof):

Me: Honey nag-order ka na flowers ko?
Kap: Sayang pera, nalalanta lang.
Me: But all the wives will be posting their flowers on Instagram huhu, mag-mukha naman akong kawawa kung ako wala?!
Kap: Bakit? Sa flowers lang ba nasusukat ang pagmamahal? Araw-araw naman diba minamahal kita ng sobra-sobra. Sila ba araw-araw minamahal ng sobra-sobra ng mga asawa nila?
Me: (shuts up, may point sya!) #kween #overloved #50shadesofkap
Sige na nga, no more flowers. Date nalang. Thus, our Isang Linggong Pag-ibig celebration (courtesy of Imelda Papin HAHAHAHAHA!)

Lunes

(nang tayo’y magkakilala)

Feb 12, 2018 Discovered a new Teppan place closer to home. Yurakuen will forever be our first love, but Teppanya will do for quick fix on cravings! \m/

Was very happy with the big fat tempura! <3 Teppanya is located at the new Evia Complex.

Yurakuen prides itself in its affordable eat-all-you-can teppan at a flat rate of 2.8k/person inclusive of sushi, sashimi, seafoods, meats & desserts. While Teppanya serves ala carte menu items, the price is somewhat reasonable -considering the quality of its offerings, as you can see.

Even the dessert was cooked tabletop. Normally it’s just ice cream or coffee jelly for dessert at Japanese resto so this was a pleasant change. That’s salmon teppan on the left, btw.

Yep, my Kap went all out on our pre-Valentine’s dinner hehe. Prolly thinking this was gonna be our one & only date. Oh Honey, little do you know! ;))

Martes

(nang tayo’y muling nagkita)

Miyerkules

(nagtapat ka ng iyong pag-ibig)

Huwebes

(ay inibig din kita)

Biyernes

(ay puno ng pagmamahalan, mga puso natin ay sadyang nag-aawitan)

Ayaw ko na ng Sabado at Linggo kasi tuluyan na silang naghiwalay! 😛

Henyways, we are in HK now for our anniversary! 32 years since our hearts decided it was forever. To my Honey: Loved you then, love you still. Always have, always will. My hand is yours to lead & hold, now and forever.

Thank you my Honey for treating me just as special on the days that are not Valentines. With you, it’s not just isang-linggong pag-ibig, but one whole year of L-O-V-E year after year after year! :-*

Okay, enough with the cheesiness hehe. Do follow my Instagram account and INSTA STORIES for our usual adventures & misadventures, GOppets style! 😉

Hala, napakanta ata ako dun sa Isang Linggong Pag-ibig. Hahaha… There were several videoke joints near our house back then at suki yang kantang yan. Hehe…

Thanks for the tip re: Teppanya. Evia is relatively more accessible from Cavite. Hope we can explore that area soon.

    Enjoy! <3
