Happy Father’s Day!

It’s scary to go out on public+weekend occasions. What starts out to be a happy outing becomes a test of patience from parking, to the restaurant, to service, and finally to billing that gets everyone in a not-so-happy mood. So going out to celebrate Father’s Day this year was definitely out of the question for us.

Instead, we had a pot-luck at the Buensalida’s. Private, relaxing, bountiful & stress-free! And did I mention BOUNTIFUL? 😉

Ate Marita always painstakingly prepares food for us with LOVE! <3
Her Chicken Teriyaki

My sukiyaki station 😉
Which of course I didn’t cook haha.

The tennis Dads! ;P

We always have fun at my Ate’s! <3 Too bad she’s going the the states for a month :'(( I will surely miss her & our dinners. Boo!

On a brighter note, I can’t wait for MY pasalubong, hahaha ;P

And the kids finally got their dad a gift that made him smile! We may go to the beach soon, so he can use his spanking new rash guard then.

A dad is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up, brushes you off,
and lets you try again.

A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence when you get hurt.

A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail…

Happy Father’s Day, my hunny bunny. Thank you for always waking up early & taking the kids to school. <3
