Initially, we wanted to try the Sunday Japanese Brunch Buffet at Solaire. We’ve never eaten in Yakumi, so when Babyson suggested we try it there someday soon, I immediately placed a reservation for this Father’s Day.

Last Mother’s Day, we had the misfortune of being at the same place at the same time, and it was super awkward for both parties –mahirap kaya mag-iwasan sa buffet table hehe. Ayaw ko na uli ma-stress, so even though I really REALLY wanted to try Yakumi, mas nanaig ang kagustuhan ko ng inner peace for all, lol.

And so, Inagiku it was once again for our Father’s Day celebration. No regrets. As always, the Japanese spread was drool-worthy! <3

Initially, we wanted to gift Kap with a family trip to Bangkok (more for the girls actually, who have wandering souls, rather than Kap haha). But REMEMBER THIS??? Yung sinabon sila ng husto ng tatay nila na walang banlaw-banlaw? ;)) Tanggal lahat ng libag nila diba.

Natakot na ang mga bata sa repeat, so they just chipped in & got their dad an Apple TV instead para he can watch nalang daw his favorite shows. Besides, we will go to Tokyo for the kids’ Christmas break, so ipon-ipon din muna at madugong bayarin na naman yan.

To our knight in shining armor, thank you for always having our backs. Thank you for being the kind of dad any kid would be so blessed to have. Thank you for loving us, for always taking care of us, for making sure our family is safe & secure in more ways than one.

Thank you for teaching us the meaning of life & how to be godly and thankful at all times. To have fun whatever the circumstance. And to learn to laugh even at life’s adversities, always telling us that it too, shall pass.

Thank you for being a prayerful dad. For always leading us to church & to Him. Our family is so blessed mainly because you are highly favored by God.
