Celebrations & Occasions My Kids

Babyson’s College Graduation

;)) That was Kap’s sentiment when our unico hijo asked us to “save the date” for his graduation.

Of course I know he was just kidding – Kap my Kap has such a dry sense of humor, lol. It’s such an honor & privilege for us parents to support the dreams & ambitions of our kids, saan man sila mapadpad, at igapang man natin makarating lang sa kanilang patutunguan. Korek?

Because I was the “robing parent” for Ate’s grad 3 years ago, it was only fair that their Dad also gets to experience the graduation march. Hence, Kap walked in & sat with our Babyson in the VIP section while the girls & I were banished to the bleachers. #allisfairinloveandwar

Yurakuen in Diamond Hotel is an all-time family favorite, so we celebrated another momentous milestone eating scallops, meats, and more scallops. Heaven! <3

With Isaac & Terry. #Bromance

We invited Terry along since his mom was stuck in China on business & wasn’t able to make it to the ceremony. Being in a block section for 4 straight years, Terry is one of Jonah’s constants in college.

It’s his first time to interact with the whole fam though. Ang nasabi lang nya, now he knows where Jonah gets his kakulitan from, hahahaha. ;P

Welcome to the fam, Terry! ;)) And congratulations too. Terry will be taking further studies as a researcher in UST, so he & Babyson will still get to see a lot of each other for sure.

Being an extruh OA mom, I colluded with his other good friend Isaac to spring a surprise graduation party for my Babyson with his block mates here in the South, since karamihan hindi pa daw nakakatapak sa Alabang hehe.

Grateful to this bunch for making his 4 years in college a most pleasant experience. Too bad only half were able to make it due to logistics & lack of transpo.

And of course, his Alabang boys will always be a part of every celebration. I rented a mechanical bull from Rodeo Star for entertainment last Saturday night. They’re always hanging around the house, wala nang element of surprise. #timeforchange ;))

Coming in, he greeted Babyson with “May kalabaw sa loob ah, ang saya!”. Wala na, he totes ruined my surprise, hay.

“Even more than the time when she gave birth, a mother feels her greatest joy when she hears others refer to her son as a wise learned one.” Congratulations anak! On to Med School. We love you more than words can say! You have our 101% support. :-*
