Ha11oween Party!

Tonight, my babyson is going with his ate to the open HA11OWEEN party. His first TEEN party at 13! My baby is now a young man! :'((

Yes, I’m actually encouraging him to go. Nope, I am not kunsitidora. I just want him to know that he doesn’t have to hide or do things behind my back. I may say no to MOST things, but when it comes to things he needs to experience as a growing boy, as long as it doesn’t affect his health, life & morals, I’m all for it. Besides, I know he has a good head on his shoulders.. and ate will be there to guide him 😉

One thing I’m proud of is I know my hunny & I have raised them well. There may be booze, there may be smoking (and a little pot, yikes!), but I know the kids can handle themselves. I don’t want to restrict them & keep them in a bubble. The sooner they know how to cope with the world, the better. Of course, little reminders now & then doesn’t hurt! ;P And I’d like to think we’ve set a pretty good example, and ingrained in them the hazzards & consequences of breaking the “rules”.

All my life I’ve been protected and lived in a bubble. I remember attending a debut where my curfew was 10 pm. I hated that I had to leave just when the party was about to start. I don’t want that for my kids.

Here’s their ha11oween get-up…

As a mobster to match ate’s 20’s girl get-up 🙂
Note: This is a FAKE CIGARETTE.
Our home remains a SMOKE-FREE zone.

Ate is soooo photogenic! 🙂
She always has great pictures.
Of course, being pretty helps. Excuse my mother moment! ;))

Sigh.. ONE MEASLY PHOTO they managed to take for me at the party.
ONE!!! @_@
