Let me just begin by saying that this is NOT a sponsored post. :)
I love getting emails from you, my dear readers. Comments too. It’s one way of getting to know you, which is only fair because you already know so much about me! ;) Most of you have become my “pen pals” or “text mates” & I always enjoy exchanging banters as well as deep profound thoughts, just as if we were long time friends.
One reader whom I’m gotten very close to & very fond of, is Christine Melanie Paredes, or Christmas -her pseudonym in the www. So no, this is not a holiday post, lels.

She has relocated to Singapore for a career growth, and I was really so touched that she wanted to meet me in person before she left last October. Of course I wasn’t going to let her go without a hug & a good send-off! ;)
Chris, before she left, was also the chef consultant for WICKED by CRAVINGS (not to be mistaken with Wicked Kitchen thank goodness!). Wicked by Cravings is a pastry shop located in the new wing of Shangrila Mall.

Knowing how I’m so attached with my family, she invited us all to the blessing of the shop two Tuesdays ago, which was another holiday -ergo the kids were free. I’m so thankful too that they were included because I don’t like to go off on my own & socialize when the kids are at home. I feel like my time is taken away from them. So this was definitely a win-win situation. You know my affinity for hitting 2 birds with 1 stone haha. :P
Lemme just say again that I went there on an official FRIEND capacity. Nevertheless, I was given a press kit by the PR handlers which I am attaching as a caption below for your perusal. Masururin naman akong tao hehe :)

With their ate Chris! ;)
My dearest Franny, if you are reading this, Chris will be alone in Singapore for a few days as she gets her feet wet, with her husband following suit in a couple of months. May I please endorse her in your care? :) I don’t like the thought of her being lonely in a foreign land all by herself. <!–3 It’s always a challenge getting uprooted from one’s comfort zone, and I know how warm & friendly you are, Franny. Plus, I’m so sure that you 2 will hit it off well coz Chris is also a foodie. You’ll have so many things to talk about. ;)–>
