Wicked Manila 2014

For Christmas, my girls got a surprise gift from Santa. They got Orchestra seat tickets to the show WICKED! m/ For some reason, Santa must have forgotten about me, or I’m too old to be in his list. Might be he ran out of budget, or I’ve been a bad, bad girl! :P

Kidding. I’m really not a big fan of musicals. I swear, I fall right to sleep no matter how entertaining it may be. Walang ka-art-art sa dugo ko. Movies? I’m all up for it but I would really say no to watching a loud concert much more a 2-hour musical. I mean if there’s an extra ticket, I’ll go & yes I might even enjoy it & applaud like crazy, caught in the moment. But it’s not something that I would go to willingly & at an extra expense. I can live without it actually. But my girls? THEY LOVE MUSICALS. Any musical -name it they’ll watch it. Thank goodness they are cultured, not like me! ;))

My little ladies had an early dinner at a seaside restaurant in Harbour Square TAJIMA YAKINIKU RESTAURANT right across CCP before the show. I’m really happy whenever they get to go on a sister date. I want them to form a bond so strong & so tight that they can always lean on each other for support.

My darling dalaga & dalagita. <3 Lovey is ate’s #2 fan. As in she loves her ate soooo very much talaga & idolizes her!

So much so that she wishes her ate NEVER has a boyfriend, hahaha! :P

My Lovey knows my blogging style so well that it’s as if I’m the one taking the photos myself haha. Thank you so much baby for your thoughtfulness & sharing photos of your night with mommy! <3

Complimentary gulay that they did not touch. ;))

Mango Shake 150 php

California Roll 180 php

Spicy Motsu Ramen Noodle 300 php (regular)

1 order each of Shrimp Tempura 300 php/basket
The girls said this was really good. They were just going to split one but decided to order another after tasting it.
For ate to even eat anything deep fried, it means this tempura was really worth the calories! :P

My 2 darling little ladies out on a very grown-up date. <3

But apparently still not very grown-up in mind haha. Here they are playing with their chopsticks!
I most certainly hope those are NOT the same chopsticks you used to eat your meals with! :P

It’s sweet that they brought with them a photo of Kuya so it was like they were complete & my babyson was also there with them! <3 (Coz of course he wouldn’t be caught dead watching a girly musical!)

Show started at EXACTLY 7:30 PM. There’s something to be said about the promptness & professionalism of the foreign acts. The girls said the production management really didn’t allow the late-comers to be seated during the show. Some of their seatmates came in the second half of the show with BV faces lels.

My not-so-little little fashionistas! <3 I love my baby girl’s pink hairy skirt from topshop. She’s found her own style & I’m liking it. Ate as usual spelled GLAM in her all-black ensemble! ;)

I asked if that dragon swooped down on them at the start of the show. Nope, the head just moved around daw. How cool would it have been if it swooped down & breathed fire! ;)

Ate made sure to bring, and wear, her glasses.
Santa was only able to get them Orchestra seats. Even he is on a tight budget haha.

This autographed music sheet by composer STEPHEN SCHWARTZ was auctioned off last January 31, 2014. Proceeds of which will go to the Yolanda fund.
Has ANY been released yet, I wonder?
I mean with ALL the donations left & right they can already re-build a whole town!

Green Monkey 1.2k

which they had fun playing with at the musical but as soon as they got home gave to Jela as a chew toy! @_@ Lol-JK! Put alongside their other stuffed toys to gather dust.

Okay, I MUST admit, I love the costumes! ;)

My tall & statuesque ate ran into some of her friends on their way out. :)

Thank you my beautiful girls for sharing your pictures with mommy! <3 It’s like I was there with you, in spirit. :P

PS: I love how my girls are truly BFFs and like being silly two-gether! Watch their “pantene” commercial starring ate & produced, directed, & shot by my Lovey! ;))
