UCC Clockwork

So happy to have been able to go back to Estancia mall in Capitol Commons. Happier even that I finally got to try UCC Clockwork! <3 Starbucks is our go-to for coffee because.. well.. it’s everywhere. But for really classy third wave Japanese coffee, we get to indulge once in a while in UCC. This is however, my first time to visit the hybrid clockwork where precise method & coffee excellence meets Japanese comfort food tweaked perfectly to tickle the Filipino palate.

Third Wave Coffee refers to the movement to produce high-quality coffee, and consider coffee as an artisanal food stuff rather than a commodity. This involves improvements at all stages of production, from improving coffee plant growing, harvesting, and processing, to stronger relationships between coffee growers, traders, and roasters, to higher quality and fresh roasting, at times called “micro roasting” to skilled brewing.

I am currently so in love with Estancia Mall. <3 Sana may sinehan na!

Name it & UCC Clockwork probably has it. Coffee by Halogen Siphon, Pour Over, Cold Brew and many more. Choose your poison! \m/

UCC is short for Ueshima Coffee Company which is a manufacturer of coffee and tea products in Kobe, Hyōgo. UCC & UCC Clockwork Philippines is brought to us by coffee lover Hubert Young. Arigatou Gozaimasu! :)

UCC Cafés are all-day dining coffee shops that serve siphon-brewed UCC Coffee and a whole lot more. It is a source of satisfying Japanese-fusion dishes, delectable desserts, and unique hot and cold beverage selections.

What’s great about UCC Clockwork is that the menu here is very different from the regular UCC Cafés serving the usual Japanese soup, sandwiches and pasta. At UCC Clockwork, not only is it a third wave coffee shop featuring blends from a variety of local and international single origin coffee, but it has gone a step further & created a new menu consisting of home-grown Japanese fusion comfort food with a few UCC favorites thrown in.
