My Kids Others

Reign.. and Hiatus

I am such a series junkie now, I swear. I guess it’s true that you just replace an addiction with another. Where I used to spend so much time editing photos & looking up background & prices for food pics, I have now replaced my idle time with watching movies online, my gosh! I really need to start looking for a part-time job to keep me sane while I wait for Kap & the kids to come home.

Food blogging is so different from personal blogging. With personal blogging, I just need a story to tell. More words, less pictures. Which cuts my time in more than half.

Please. Don’t advise me to cook or do housework. Baka magkasunog, or worse, food poisoning ang pamilya ko at ako pa maging dahilan. I am not a domesticated diva. I never was, and I never will be. I need to do something that involves writing & imagination. It really is my outlet, I have just confirmed it.

Anyhoo, I am taking a hiatus. A Christmas break if you will. But I am leaving you with this.. ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I AM ENJOYING IT NOW!

Reign is a highly fictionalized series following the early exploits of Mary, Queen of Scots during her years living in France. The first season opens in 1557, with Mary living in French court and awaiting her marriage to Prince Francis, to whom she has been engaged since they were six. Mary has to contend with changing politics and power plays, as well as her burgeoning feelings for Francis and the romantic attentions from Francis’ bastard half-brother, Bash. Francis’ mother, Catherine de’ Medici, secretly tries to prevent the marriage following Nostradamus’s confidential prediction that the marriage will lead to Francis’ death. The series also follows the affairs of Mary’s Scottish handmaidens Kenna, Aylee, Lola and Greer, who are searching for husbands of their own at court.

I initially thought it would be boring but just after the first minute of watching, I was hooked to the storyline. Thank you ATE for telling me about this. It’s history all right, but NOT BORING. I am certain that you will enjoy it! <3
