My babyson left me for a 2-day retreat. He had his dad secretly sign the reply slip so he got away with going. :P He knew that if it were up to me, he’d be staying under lock, key & heavy security, lels. If only there was a class on “How to learn to let go of your teenage son”, I would be the first registrant.
I’m a helicopter mom so it’s really very hard for me to let go. My babyson can be 40 & I’ll still worry about him.
Knowing I was going to lose in the battle -it’s 2 against 1, I allowed him on the condition that he will let me pack for him. What was supposedly a regular-sized backpack turned into a big-sized duffel bag hehe. Hello! He didn’t have toiletries. He didn’t have slippers. No towel, no jacket! Ano yan, day trip? I also packed him some bottles of mineral water for when he gets thirsty in the middle of the night. Big mistake. HUGE MISTAKE. His partner accidentally sat on one, it spilled, and my babyson’s iPhone 5 didn’t survive even after several attempts to revive it huhuhu. We finally laid it to rest & I had to spring for a new one. Kasalanan ko eh. Ang galing ko talagang nanay diba? @_@
Anyway, Kap took me out for dinner & a movie to get my mind off my babyson. We ended up in Prime Cafe of the B Hotel on a Monday night. We were cruising the new Commerce Center & everything was STILL closed so we decided to just see what’s up with B Hotel across.
Prime Cafe really exceeded our expectations. Not only was the food good but it was affordable too, considering we were eating in a hotel. Not a bad place to take your date for lunch or dinner. Our bill totaled 2k. Kap succeeded in putting a smile on my face & patch the hole in my heart. :)
Ayan diba? Ang sarap ng tulog ko! :P Thank you my Lovey for capturing this on camera! (Yes. We all sleep together in one room!) #walanglovelife #peromayafternoondelightnaman #kayaOKlang
