Passion at Maxim’s Tower

Ever since the all-you-can-dimsum craze started popping, we’ve been hooked -line & sinker included. So far we’ve only tried three, with Phoenix Court being our favorite. Passion is our 4th dimsum-all-you-can experience & it might just replace Phoenix Court in our hearts. Might -if only it was closer in proximity.

Passion is located in Maxim’s Tower at Resorts World.

Passion

At Passion, you can indulge in irresistible dishes like the Shanghai dumpling, abalone and bird’s nest soup in a grand banquet hall with large round tables. Set within the confines of six-star Maxims Hotel, its grandiose interior reflects the rich, exquisite tastes of the orient.

Passion has 400 seats and seven VIP rooms to accommodate special gatherings like company functions, private get-togethers and family reunions. Combined with impeccable service, everything about Passion makes for an affair worth coming back to.

Too bad ate was out with her friends for a group project, she wasn’t able to join us. Their sweet & sour pork was HEAVEN in a dish!

Oh Bent, you always seem to have your eyes closed in most pictures, haha! ;P
My little boos! <3
Again, the choices were considerably less than Phoenix Court‘s or in Shang Palace.
But what they lack in quantity, they more than make up in quality.
Empty, as we were there early.
Passion opens exactly at 11AM.
No matter how much you beg to be let in -believe me, I tried.
The usual appetizer -boiled peanuts.
A WHALE! Such cute chopstick holder. Wanted to bring one home, haha.
Don’t worry, I didn’t! My Lavinia made sure of it. @_@
They had a buffet set-up with congee, aside from the checklist,
you can also get dimsum on your own as they came.
There was also misua.
I don’t advise that you get this as it fills you up quickly.
Or this. Yang Chow Fried Rice.
But of course, the 2 young ones still did.
Can’t keep them away from their carbs! @_@
Aside from the dimsum, you can also order the following which is included in the dimsum package. (Not included in the pictures are the following which we opted to forego: Wok Fried Romaine Lettuce, Steamed Fish Fillet with Garlic Sauce, and Wok Fried Pork Face Meat with X.O. sauce)

Sweet & Sour Port with fresh fruits
Stir Fried Chicken Cutlets in “Kung Pao” style
Wok Fried Shrimp with Black Bean sauce
Braised Fish Fillet with Salted Preserved Vegetables.
I would just like to mention that in Shang Palace, you can only choose 1 main entree with your dimsum buffet at 850 net. But here in Passion, at 750 net, you can order as many main entrees as you want (and can finish, of course.)
Happy, hungry gators. But seriously missing ate! :(
Steamed Giant Dumplings with shrimps.
(really giant! with crunchy shrimps. Oh-em-gee! <3)
Steamed Fresh Scallop Dumplings
Steamed Siomai Pork Dumplings with Shrimps.
Steamed Pork Dumplings “Teow Chew” Style
(ala Shao Long Bao)
Steamed Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Abalone
Deep Fried Taro Puff
Deep Fried Wonton
(Super Panalo! m/)
Fresh Shrimp in Crispy Net Spring Rolls

We were so contented & full that we decided to forego the following:
– Steamed Bean Curd Skin Roll with Mixed Mushrooms
– Steamed BBQ Pork Bins
– Steamed Pork Buns with Cabbage
– Steamed Spare Ribs with Black Sauce
– Sauteed Turnip Cake with X.O. Sauce
– Deep Fried Assorted Pork Puff
– Steamed Chicken Feet in Special Sauce
– Fresh Shrimp & Spinach Dumpling
– Szechuan Spicy Dumpling (hey, I asked for this!!)
– Homemade Creamy Salted Egg Bun

They offered 3 kinds of dessert. Of course my tummy always has room for that! ;)

Deep Fried Stuffed Sesame Balls with Lotus Paste
Sweetened Taro Puree with Tapioca, and
Chilled Almond Jelly with Mixed Fruits.
The restaurant filled up considerably as we finished our lovely meal..

And guess what we did after that heavy meal.. Walked it off, you say? Are you kidding?! Of course not, we parked our stuffed selves in the cinemas & watched this haha..

Nasira ang pagka-astig ng babyson ko, hehe!
I told him to just sleep coz I really really wanted to watch this! :P
As ususal, I kept bawling towards the end of the movie,
ayan, ang tindi tuloy ng sipon ko ngayon. OA kasi! :(

Pahabol.. my ootd post!

and ate’s pasalubong from Forever 21. I LOVETT!! <3
She missed me too! ;)

Next up, a debut & 2 birthdays! This is the LIFE! ;)
