The hubster asked me out on a date the morning before he left for work the other day. I almost fell off the bed. REALLY. It was SUCH a surprise! He’s always so busy. However, it was bed weather so I just wanted to laze around the house.
Before lunch, he called me again asking if I had changed my mind & was willing to go out. I said maybe next time. What got into him all of a sudden??? ;))
After our noontime nap, he again insisted that he wanted to take me out on a date. I finally relented. I was antsy about leaving the kids but he doesn’t ask very often so I pushed myself to go. I though it would be somewhere nearby coz normally a date for us old farts meant dinner & movie at a nearby mall. I was surprised when we took the highway. Buti nalang pala nag-ayos ako ng konti! ;P
I kept asking him where he was taking me but he said it was a surprise. Before we left the house though, he slathered off lotion on my pata-tims. He said it was for precautionary measures. Hmmmmnnnn..
It took forever to get to our destination due to heavy traffic off the highway, but the surprise he cooked up for me made me tear. He really levelled up on this one haha. He knows the inner child in me & how seeing this unique place would make me squeal with delight! It’s also actually the first time he’s shown support for, or interest in, my blog. He said he googled someplace new & whimsical coz he knows I was gonna blog about it.. and it sure was whimsical! <3
|Everything was upside down! ;))
You can’t get any more whimsical than that! <3

The main branch is located at the heart of Marikina near SSS Village (open from 6am to 7pm everyday except Sundays 6am to 3pm). Not upside down though. I think they have different themes for each branch. The one in Marikina claims to be one of the five chess-themed restaurants in the world.
