My Sick Girl

Whenever my Lovey gets really tired, she gets sick. And not just ordinary coughs & colds. We’re talking fever with asthma & flu-like symptoms such as body pain! @_@ That’s why as much as possible, I don’t allow her to get too excited, or too tired.

Since the cake fight party last saturday, she’s had sore throat & asthma. And by midweek, she finally came down with a high fever! </3 Sinasabi ko na nga ba!

She woke up crying Wednesday morning so I really panicked. She normally wakes up in a good frame of mind & with a ready smile for me. That morning though, her throat was burning & she felt hot to the touch. Infection has definitely set in. I asked her to stay home from school to rest.

To perk her sagging spirits, I took her for some ramen loving because she wanted to eat something soft & hot. May sakit na, gala pa rin sya. She didn’t want a take-home. She wanted to eat in the resto & people watch! ;)) Click HERE for my previous post on Yushoken.

You’ve been so sickly lately, my baby love, in spite of all your vitamins & supplements. I hope you’ll soon outgrow the stress a new school brings. I worry when you’re sick. Get well, sweetie. Mommy loves you!! :-*
Disclaimer: My Lovey wasn’t SO sick that she couldn’t get up. Or was feeling SO bad that I made a bad call taking her out. I didn’t force her to go, and we went home as soon as we finished eating.  It was really quick, and she had plenty of rest after. Her sickness/fever wasn’t contagious as it was bacterial infection due to strep throat. I hope this clarifies the email I got calling me a bad parent for taking her out. Please don’t judge us, what you see here is not the complete story of our lives. We’ll live our lives & you live yours. Thanks.
