Breakfast at Antonio’s

My Lovey & I weren’t feeling up to going with 3/5th of the GOppets to their nth dive in Anilao. They are at sea most of the day anyway, leaving my bunso & I twiddling with our thumbs & nothing to do.

We can’t also stay in the boat as their equipments take up all the space.

We can’t enjoy the beach as it’s sobrang mabato & too wavy. The last time I tried I got plenty of gashes on my legs that took ages to heal. And 2 lang kami baka matangay kami sa malakas na alone. Umabot pa kami ng Cambodia!

And so we stayed. The morning, my Lovey & I went to the mall, ate, looked around -basically killed hours & minutes. No time to think about the missing links. But just a night without Kap, ate & my babyson and I started missing the rest of my brood. We all sleep together so the room looked empty, even with our dear Jela snoring ever so loudly on the bed. I got sad that we followed suit the next day & decided to surprised them.

On our way to Batangas, my Lovey & I made a quick stop at Breakfast at Antonio’s in Tagaytay for a quick brunch & also to buy pasalubong.

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. At Breakfast at Antonio’s, they take this adage very seriously.

Breakfast at Antonio’s serves an all-day breakfast menu designed to awaken the senses. From comforting breakfast favorites and European brunch fares to classic deli favorites and sweet treats, their heartwarming menu complements the restaurant’s relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. Freshly baked bread and homemade jams, curds, and yogurt as well as prepared meats—all these add to the restaurant’s rustic charm.

My Lovey gets me all to herself. But not for long haha! :P

I really like the rustic charm & the pristine white paint of Antonio’s.

So many pasalubong to choose from. Antonio’s breads & spreads are really the bomb.

Coffee & carbs to start the day right. <3 Compli pineapple & mango jams yay!

Brie & Asparagus! 2 of Ate’s favorite things. Unfortunately, this wasn’t available. So we got her something else for take-out.

Bread Basket 150 php. Slice of turkish, banana bread, whole wheat bread, french bread & pandesal with butter & homemade jams. What a steal, make sure to order this with your breakfast staples. <3 And don’t be shy to ask for extra dollops of their super yummy jams!

Cheddar & Bacon & Pancake 285 php. Served with bacon strips & american cheddar hot & oozing from the pancake! <3

Beef Tapa 485 php. Served with 2 eggs done anyway you want with hasn brown, sauteed scallop potato, and garlic rice.

Fresh Corned Beef 400 php. Also Served with 2 eggs done anyway you want with hash brown, sauteed scallop potato, and garlic rice.

Breakfast at Antonio’s fills up quickly especially on a Saturday. They don’t accept reservations so go at your own risk. Or go early. They open at 10am.

Because the resident photographer wasn’t around, the sub took over the photography duties, lels. Ang putt ng anak ko. Among the 3 she’s the one who got my coloring haha. Peace Ate!

Breakfast for THREE TWO! Brunch yan in fairness. Kaya tig-isang pang-breakfast at isang pang-lunch. :P

We reached Batangas late afternoon, which was fine because at least we had only a couple of hours left to kill before we went back home. Konting twiddling of thumbs lang. So to pass the time we stayed on the shore & got our feet wet a bit on the shallow part. As expected, ang dami ko na namang uwing galos huhu!

Caught them just in time as they were about to go diving AGAIN one last time before heading home. Grabe mga dugong! @_@

Finally, umahon din ang mga shokoy! I’m glad they love the sea as much as their dad & they can bond over this scuba activity. <3

PASALUBONG! Diving can be quite strenuous so they really get hungry after each dive. Kulang yung pasaubong ni mommy! :P

Don’t worry Ate, we’ll go back to Breakfast at Antonio’s soon so you can also try the yummy breads & so many other interesting things on the menu. :-*
