Maytime Mains with Chef Jay McCarthy

From May 2-7, 2017 Chef Jay McCarthy, the corporate chef of Group970 Restaurants from Vail Valley in Colorado, takes over the restaurant’s pots and pans. His second time back from his previous visit in 2015, Chef Jay McCarthy will oversee The Cafe’s open theater kitchens further enhancing the diverse buffet spread of the hotel’s all-day buffet restaurant.

For this American-themed food festival, named “Maytime Mains with Chef Jay McCarthy”, dining guests can literally mEAT-all-you-can over lunch or dinner. Lunch buffet prices start at PHP 1,588 net, while dinner buffet prices start at PHP 1,988 net.

I cannot worship her enough. My baker friend Sharon Banocnoc of BAKERMOM SPECIALTY CAKES always outdoes herself with each creation. Just look at the effort she made for the Pug cupcake because I told her how much Stitch, Ouie’s pet, means so much to him. <3 Thank you dear Shawie for making our birthday boy happy. :-*

Cooking Class with Chef Jay McCarthy’s Favorite Recipes. The cooking class includes a tasting of the prepared dishes and dessert buffet on the day of the class, a recipe booklet, a HYATT apron and a HYATT Cooking Class Certificate. May 6, 2017 (Saturday) | 2:30 – 5:30 PM | PHP 3,200+++ Prices subject to 12% VAT, 2% local tax and 10% service charge.

Know Your Steaks Cooking Class. Upgrade your meat mastery on May 20 as you get to know the differences between corn-fed, grass-fed and Wagyu beef. For PHP 2,600+++, the cooking class includes a tasting of the steaks, a recipe booklet, a HYATT apron and a HYATT Cooking Class Certificate. Lobster Feast. The Café offers a lobster feast during lunch and dinner for three Thursdays this month – May 11, 18, and 25. Regular buffet rates apply.
