#MarryMe at Marriott Grand Ballroom

For the last installment of the Marriott Grand Ballroom launch, Marriott Hotel Manila in cooperation with world-class Filipino designers, presented #MarryMeAtMarriott, a bridal show like no other just last Monday!

The Outfit..

I wore a dust coat by Criselda Lontok, my favorite designer for her colorful, youthful & girly ensembles. A dust coat is a loose-fitting protective garment that is worn over other clothing. It can be worn over a gown or a cocktail dress. Because Kap didn’t want to wear a suit, I settled for a simple black cocktail dress under.

Kap has certainly put to good use all the coats the kids got him over the holidays for the 3 separate events we attended at Marriott Hotel Manila over the past week. ;)

The Cocktails..

Spread fit for a blushing bride. All things lovely & dainty. <3 Above, Marriott Grand Ballroom‘s Lighting system is specially designed to offer guests with multiple scenes at the touch of a button:  4 independent lighting systems built into this high tech infrastructure to include the RGB+A LED Flex Strip Lighting features | Pillow ceiling lights | Color programed | Cove lighting around the perimeter of each section with full color programing | Adjustable motorized down lights to give illumination where it is desired | Fixed down lights between the pillow.

When at Marriott Hotel Manila, expect nothing but to be constantly wowed & dazzled. We have fallen head over heels in love with Marriott, tat’s for sure!

Marriott Hotel Manila is actually a one-stop-shop for all blushing brides. From wedding invitations to cakes. Marriott is all you need. :)

With The hungry Kat & Luke, our dear & constant companions over the past 3 events at the Marriott Grand Ballroom events. I will surely miss seeing them after getting close these past 3 events.

Featuring the Skyfold Technology. The Marriott Grand Ballroom has a sophisticated engineered designed Operable Wall System that is capable of the following: Outstanding acoustic performance | Room configuration changed in minutes | Retracts quietly and effortlessly | Folded vertically and stored in the ceiling | Seals are internal and soundproof | No unsightly Wall or floor tracks | No unsightly side pocket doors | No visible hinges or hardware.

Congratulations Marriott Hotel Manila for the very successful launch of the Marriott Grand Ballroom! <3

The Show.. simply stunning!

Showcasing luxe bridal wear created by well-known couturiers Frederick Peralta, Randy Ortiz, Rajo Laurel, Rhett Eala, JC Buendia & Jun Escario, guests were in for a very exciting treat at the grandest ballroom in the Philippines.

My Kap is such a sweetheart. He works hard all day long so come night time he just wants to relax at home in peace & quiet. But because he knows I like dressing up & going to ganaps, he patiently went with me even to this bridal show na walang angal. My escort, driver, photographer all rolled into one. Thank you so much my Honey for the love! <3

Randy Ortiz. “Randy continues to lead the way in the fashion scene. He recently staged his 20th Anniversary gala entitled Aspirer, which was dubbed by Metro and Lifestyle Network as the most important fashion event of the year. Rhett Eala. “After over two decades in the fashion industry, Rhett Eala is one who has definitely left his mark in local fashion. Eala’s genius made the Philippine map a fashion symbol, embroidering and printing its shape onto stylish sports shirts, jersey dresses and other casual apparel. And just like any brilliant idea, the logo map became a staple among the stylish set and an outstanding example of accessible fashion. Among industry insiders, Eala is referred to as a master at resurrecting old retail brands, catapulting them into highly fashionable labels.” – Vito Studio

“Cebu-based designer Jun Escario is a master at making the perfect style statement. If anything, His body of work mirrors a feminine, elaborate and sinuous sensibility fit for red carpet, A-list events. His knack for innovative fabric selection and ability to bring together a rich mosaic of textures, have resulted in some of the most highly-coveted glamorous pieces season after season. His svelte silhouettes celebrate the female form and resonate with Old World elegance. The elaborate Escario body of work is a clear cut expression of one extraordinary fashion proposition.” – Vito Studio

“This year celebrates JC Buendia‘s 25th year as a fashion designer.  As one of the most revered names in Philippine fashion today, Buendia has been known to dress the country’s most iconic women—from movie actresses to political figures. Why he is the go-to designer for these personalities is no mystery. For one, Buendia’s superior workmanship, flawless technical skill and bespoke aesthetic have kept some of the most photographed men and women coming back for more.” -Vito Studio
