Le Monet Hotel Baguio

THE DON invited the KTG to a 3 days/2 nights staycation at Le Monet Hotel Baguio last month. The weather was perfect. Crisp & cool, not too chilly, so the GOppets accepted Donny Elvina’s gracious invitation with a happy heart. <3

We love going to Baguio, but we don’t look forward to the long drive. Luckily, the Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway (TPLEX) has been completed so we were able to cut our trip by 2 hours. What normally takes us 7-8 hours to get to Baguio, we were able to take for more or less 5 hours. Yay!

Kap is happy that our babyson can now take over the driving duties! Good job on the relaxed driving baby son. Thank you for patiently driving us around. <3

We usually stay at our townhouse whenever we would go up, so we never got to experience Hotel living in Baguio. This was our first, the kids were uber excited. They’ve always found our home in the mountains gloomy & scary. This recent accommodation was a most welcome change for all of us!

Checking in was a breeze. It was the start of the PANAGBENGA FESTIVAL when we went up so I appreciated the fact that the receptionists were very quick & competent. We were ushered to our room in no time.

I just have to say. The elevator is super cute. If I gain 10 more pounds it won’t close anymore! HAHAHA!

Ate had a half day class that day so we got to Le Monet Hotel Baguio pretty late -just in time for dinner, actually. The rest of the KTG contingent were already billeted & had a relaxing nap while waiting for us to join them.

I liked the shining shimmering splendid effect of the glitzy lobby.

We were all given rooms on the 3rd floor. I hope we weren’t too noisy for the rest of the guests. :P The KTG has a tendency to over-enjoy the company of one another. ;))

Thank you so much Le Monet Hotel Baguio for our welcome cheese platter & drinks. <3 We enjoyed the snack & refreshments after our long drive. Set the mood perfectly.

Deluxe Twin Room provides a peaceful retreat, each provided with its own balcony that opens to a magnificent view of pine trees and mountains. Starts at 5,080 php/night depending on the season. Package with breakfast starts at 5,860 php/night.

The room was just right for the 5 of us. We moved the furnitures around a bit to accommodate the airbed for my babyson. The hotel doesn’t have extra cots so make sure you bring a collapsible one, or a sleeping bag, for a family of 5.

My babyson slept on the airbed. I appreciated that the room was quite big enough to accommodate an extra bed.

While the 2 girls shared the other queen-sized bed.

I also liked that we had a balcony so the room didn’t feel cramped at all with all 5 of us sleeping in together. We opened the window and a cool steady breeze had us snuggling under our soft duvets. My babyson got to telebabad the night away in the privacy of our balcony. And Ate was able to study early in the morning while we slept cozily inside.

Looking out our balcony, this was our beautiful view. The scent of pine & forest filled us. It was a wonderful 3 days. <3

I was particularly enamored with our compact but aliw bathroom. The toilet seat was HEATED! And there was a small television to keep you busy while you did your “business”. ;))

And there was a hair dryer. A must for every gal, don’t you agree?

Our room was just right for the 5 of us. But if you want a bigger one so you can move around more, then this is for you. Junior Suite – 6,760 php base price (no breakfast) Best Available Rate, ideal for families. The Junior Suite features a spacious living room and 2 Queen-sized beds, with a private balcony that opens to a sweeping view of the garden full of pine trees. For a room package with breakfast price starts at 7,540 php depending on the season.
