My baby girl loves KE$HA, I don’t know why. I mean KE$HA’s songs are certainly not for her age group, right? ;P Uhhmmm I pretend to be a cool mommy but in all honesty? I really don’t know any of her songs. Yung Petshop Boys, alam ko lahat ng kanta nila. But ask me about this singer with a dollar sign on her name, NADA. ;P
Ever since she found out KE$HA was having a concert in the Philippines, she’s been begging me if it can be her birthday gift, watching the concert with her friends. Compared to the initial gift she’s been hinting at, this was kinda sisiw hehe.
|It’s one day after her birthday, so it’s the perfect birthday treat for my Lovey.|

So first thing on the morning of August 5, Kap & I were in Smart Araneta, waiting for the ticket windows to open so I can buy my Lovey’s precious tickets. I was hesitant about buying online because of my past experience where I waited & waited only to find out you can only purchase those particular tickets at the Araneta booth. Long story short, we ran out of tickets. Sinigurado ko nang makakabili talaga ako by hook or by crook. (But yes, you can buy tickets online now & make your life hella easier.)
|Can you see Kap’s smile? Pilit na, hehe. MAASIM NA!!! ;))|
|AHA!!! Huli ka baby girl! Texting while in school!! :P
Mom is super B.I. hehe.
We got there at 9am because that’s the time the windows open & I was worried there might be a long snaky line. Unfortunately, they still didn’t have the go signal to sell the KE$HA tickets by the time we got there, so we waited IN LINE (with the pesky mosquits!) until 12 noon. Still no sign of the precious tickets. So we headed on over to One Rockwell to have lunch at one of my reader’s resto, AK BISTRO. Kathlyn was so gracious to email me about her family’s resto so of course I wanted to patronize it. <3
|Thank you so much for your email, Kathlyn! <3
It certainly brightened up my otherwise “stormy” day. :)
|The restaurant, which is alongside Apt. 1B & the new Grace Park in One Rockwell, has a cozy & welcome-y feel to it.|
|Jin gave me some MI CASA goodies before & I loved ’em to bits! <3
I can buy from here pala!
|All yummy goodness!!! <3|
|My lunch date & I were so hungry that we wanted to try everything on the menu!
It’s a good thing their warm & friendly servers guided us on the best sellers & favorites.
|Complimentary bread & liver pate spread. <3|
|Softshell Crab with Mango Poppy Seed Dressing 328 php|
|Binagoongang Baboy 408 php
This was clearly my favorite. The meat was so tender & flavorful. <3
Can be shared between 2-3 people.
And I adore bagoong. So ’nuff said! ;)
|Rustic Apple Pie.
I felt bad because I forgot my hunny doesn’t like apples & loathes anything with cinnamon hehe.
I should have ordered the mango instead! </3
|Thank you hunny bun for being so patient the whole day even though you were itching to go home na to have your way with me, lels!|
When we went back to Araneta after our yummy & filling lunch (I’m still burping), they were ok to sell, but the servers were down. Accckkkk!!! It was clearly NOT my day! :P So we waited another 2 hours before they were able to go online. KMN!!! I swear, I knew the whole life story of these 2 ladies by the time I finally got hold of the tickets, lels! Nagpalitan na kami ng number! ;))
|Ang mga kumare ko! ;)|
KE$HA! I hope your concert is soooooo worth it!!! :P
