Kap & Me My Kids Others Sponsored Posts

Vista Residences, University Series

I’m blessed to have been given such smart & ambitious kids. As early as grade school, they already had life goals. Mga ambisyosa na. All 3 of them want to become doctors. Maybe my brain-washing worked, maybe my subtle & constant whisper in their ears at night as they lay sleeping helped make their career decisions. Or maybe it’s because both my parents were doctors that heavily influenced their decisions.

Even at a young age. They were never in limbo as to their future. I am blessed to have kids who are dedicated in securing their future.

Whatever it is that made them want it, I am happy with their career choices. Heck, the fact that they all have above average grades & are driven to finish school & continue on to college makes me one happy mom! Education is one sure thing that we as parents can give them to assure their good future.

As you may know, Ate is on her last year in pre-med this June & will be continuing on to Med proper next year, God willing. My Babyson is on his way to Pre-med too this June. Dalawa na ang nasa college namin. Both in the same school by God’s grace. So Kap & I are thinking about getting them a halfway home.

(This photo belongs to Ate’s friend MENDI.) A graduating college student this coming school year. Time flies by so fast!

Like his Ate, my Babyson also got in his top choices of universities. But we all unanimously voted that he will go where his Ate is so they can look out for one another.

In the 3 years that Ate had been commuting to school, I saw the physical, mental, and emotional strain it took on her. She has to wake up 2 hours early so she can get ready & prepare for the day ahead, and face the impending traffic. That’s 5 days a week. I’m so glad she has our trusty driver, Anderson, with her day in & day out so I have a little peace of mind at least.

We thought of getting her a condo but paranoid mommy that I am, I was never sold on the idea of her living on her own. I trust her fully, I do. But it’s the people -the strangers around her, that I don’t. Her safety is my first priority. Yes, even over convenience. When it comes to our kids, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

All her life, I have taken great care of Ate. I have sheltered her & treated her like the delicate & premium flower that she is. But now that her brother will be there alongside to protect her, I am actually seeing the sense & sensibility of getting them a halfway home. A place to relax, or need be, a place to stay when they have to.

The Launch of the University series!

Vista Residences’ University Series are vertical developments with round-the-clock security and regular maintenance. With its secured environment, many parents are choosing Vista Residences for their kids. Offering not just a valuable property investment, it’s also giving parents peace of mind to know that their kids are safe while still giving them the freedom to live on their own. This is student living redefined.

Giving students better living options with a dynamic concept in condo living, the University Series is Vista Residences‘ collection of vertical residences located in close proximity to the country’s key colleges and universities. Equipped with everything essential to a student’s life– a space for one’s self to play, to learn, and to dream. This is student living redefined.

Kap suggested that we rent first, to test the waters. But I say go for it with 2 feet in. With me, It’s always been all or nothing. Why throw away money on rent fee when I can put it to better use investing in a property that can be theirs in the future?

I’m happy that VISTA RESIDENCES has flexible payment plans that make it seem as if I’m just paying the kids’ monthly rent when in fact, I am paying for a prime property that will be theirs to use however they want it. Hindi mawawala ang bahay.

Why pay a monthly rent of 8-12k for a tiny room when you can pay it off towards the amortization of your own condo?
