Alaska All-Purpose Cream, Have a #MerryCremas 2015!

As you well know, QC is another area of the kabihasnan for me. Oh how I would love to visit that part of town but alas, distance & traffic prevents me from enjoying all that Quezon City has to offer. It took an Alaska Merry Cremas Festival to get me hustling from my end to the busiest part of the metro.. QC!

I joined last year’s Alaska Merry Cremas Festival & the GOppets had a lot of fun going through each & every stall sampling varied dishes using Alaska Crema All-Purpose Cream  as an important ingredient. Though I don’t spend a lot of time in the kitchen, or consider myself a kitchen diva like other moms, it’s fun to see many ways I can use Alaska Crema All-Purpose Cream for our sexy chef to cook up this jolly holiday season. My kids & their friends are always in our home so new dishes to serve them are always welcome.

How fortunate that we were spending my babyson’s birthday staycation just a stone’s throw away from Trinoma where the Alaska Merry Cremas Festival was held, so Kap & I were able to sneak away from the sleeping kids for a brief period & catch the start of the merry activities..

Out of the many entries, I immediately focused on the dessert items. My sweet tooth was on hyperactive mode & I couldn’t wait to try all the yummy treats featuring Alaska Crema All-Purpose Cream. I was as excited as a child on Christmas day sampling all the products each booth had to offer. But I gotta say, these 2 really caught my attention & I would serve them this coming noche buena in a heartbeat.

Mango cream jar in a cake. My kids, especially my Babyson, is a mango lover. He would surely like this. I’d maybe tone down the sweetness a bit but the sweet & sour creamy goodness of this dessert is a guaranteed hit. \m/

Salted Caramel Panna Cotta by Cupkies by K is another winner. In fact it IS the winning dessert dish & received a cash prize of tumataginting na 25k! What a #MerryCremas2015 indeed for K & her staff. Congratulations. And I must say, I sure know how to pick a winner! ;)

But of course, hindi pwedeng magpahuli ang pambansang ulam. I zeroed in on 3 which I found do-able even by a kitchen noob like me, and what my kids & their guests would surely enjoy:

Hi, Ms. Jane! I have missed your posts so much! I have been spending way too many times sa hospitals. Another hospital confinement next week for me. Nagho-hospital tour na ata ako. Hahaha! As soon as I am up and running po from my slipped disc I would surely try these recipes. Christmas celebrations wouldn’t be complete without special desserts and dishes like the ones on this post…

Anyway po, hindi man po ako maka comment sa posts nyo or mahuli man ako sa pagbabasa dahil nagho hospital tour ako, I will always be one of your avid supporters/fan/follower/friend… Regards to the GOppets and continuously praying sa tuloy tuloy na paglakas ng katawan ni Mommy mo… God bless po! :)

Oo nga po, Ms. Jane e. First, my mom, then my dad, tapos my lolo na 1 month sa hospital. After 3 days ma-discharged sya, na-confine naman ako ‘coz I can’t even stand or sit from the extreme and excruciating pain in my lower back. All the tests, xrays and ultrasounds were normal. Then lipat ako sa hospital sa Lipa City for the MRI. Ayun po, dun nakita na Slipped Disc with lumbar lordosis with predisposition to lumbosacral instability.

Anyway, thank you po for your well-wishes and I really do hope na maging malakas na uli si Mommy mo.

Yung furry pink throne nyo po babagay sa bago nyo house… Sana i-gift ka po ni Kap nun. Also, bagay na si Miss Nadia ang gumanap sa MMK mo. Pareho kayo gorgeous… :) God bless po always!
