Crystal Jade Dining In. Weekend Dimsum Buffet

To celebrate Ate‘s end of term & victory, YAY! (and eating our sorrows away for Lovey’s back to school, BOO!) we took the kids to Crystal Jade Dining In in Bonifacio High Street last Sunday. Their Dimsum Buffet is back, so we headed there for a man vs. food challenge.

Buffet is not something we say no to. Where others claim na lugi sila sa buffet, in our case the resto is the one actually begging us to leave. Sila ang lugi sa GOppets! :P

Crystal Jade Dining In has an eat-all-you-can Dimsum Buffet from 2-5 pm every weekend for only 788+ per person with free-flowing Iced or Hot tea. Complimentary noodles for groups of 4 or more and 50% discount for kids 12 & below.

Steamed Beef Balls | Steamed Vegetarian Dumplings | Steamed Shrimp Dumpling (Hakaw) | Steamed Pork & Shrimp Dumpling (siomai) | Steamed BBQ Pork Buns | Steamed Glutinous Rice | Steamed Shrimp & Spinach Dumpling | Steamed Chicken Feet | Steamed Pork Rib | Steamed Rice Roll with BBQ Pork | Baked Bo Lo BBQ Pork Bun | Pan-fried Carrot Cake | Deep Fried Yam Dumpling with Taro | Deep-fried Shrimp & Shredded Chicken Roll | Steamed Cream Custard Bun. BURP.

I gotta say, all the dimsum choices included in the buffet were our favorites so we happily munched away.

Steamed Pork & Shrimp Dumpling (siomai) with Crab Roe. Firm & crunchy to the bite. Noms! <3

Steamed Shrimp Dumpling (Hakaw). Out TOP fave. Did not disappoint! <3

Steamed Shrimp & Spinach Dumpling. Coming up close. I loved that this had my daily allowance na of veggie! :P

Steamed Vegetarian Dumplings

Steamed Beef Balls

Steamed Pork Rib

Steamed Chicken Feet for Kap. Mahilig sa paa! :P

Steamed Cream Custard Bun with Salted Egg Yolk. Now this was a surprise. Sweet & salty perfect combination. Best eaten as dessert so save this for last. :)

Steamed BBQ Pork Buns. All time fave.

Baked Bo Lo BBQ Pork Bun

Steamed Rice Roll with BBQ Pork

Chilled Coffee Jelly. Because coffee wasn’t available at a Chinese resto, this did the job for me. ;)

Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Coconuts

But because we didn’t have breakfast & went straight to Bonifacio High Street for Crystal Jade Dining In right after our 10-12 noon church service, we were VERY hungry. Dimsum just didn’t cut it for us after a 16-hour fast from our last meal. So the kids chose some all time faves from the ala carte menu & we ended up having a great big feast!

This is what happened..
Kids: Dad can we order rice? (They know their Dad cannot eat without rice)
Kap: Ok. Small lang ha.
Lovey: Dad Can I have chicken please I only like hakaw eh?
Kap: Ok. Small lang ha.
Babyson: Dad the beef looks good can we add to the chicken?
Kap: Ok. Small lang ha.
Ate: Daddy if they’re getting something can I also get fish please.
Kap: Ok.

We added 6 more dishes to our already filled table. This is how we roll. Mahirap kaming ginugutom :P

Good news! For every group of 4 & above partaking of the Dimsum Buffet at Crystal Jade Dining In, a small serving of Birthday E-fu Noodles worth 420 php will be given with compliments of the Chef.

Kap’s smile BEFORE we sat down. I won’t post anymore the AFTER hahaha! :P

We were stuffed silly after that heavy & satisfying meal. And do you know what piggies do best after eating?

Walk around? NOPE..

SLEEP! :P Kap was snoring like a bulldozer 10 minutes into the movie, TROLOLOL! ;)) Napagod sa binayad nya. BHS has the most comfy reclining chairs. You won’t wanna leave even after the movie showing, I swear. A seat costs 370 (+20 if you buy online).

Thank you my Honey for a wonderful & leisurely day! <3 Manipis na naman ang wallet mo. Back to the grind again so we can eat out & pasyal uli next week. Promise we will behave na! :)

Hey! The GOppets want YOU to try Crystal Jade Dining IN’s Dimsum Buffet too. You know the drill..

Kudos to you for being “creative” by having it your way w/o Kap realising he fell into a trap na pala!!!

    I haven’t tried watching a movie there, masubukan nga…

BTW bakit hindi kasama ang Xiao Long Bao sa dimsum nila? Talagang for Greenhills branch only?

Another BTW, if you know the management pakisabi ang XLB nila kulubot, sa HK hindi kulubot! LOL

Ms. Jane, you made my day talaga! Kawawang Kap, hinding-hindi makatiis sa lambing ninyong lahat. I especially like
Kap’s smile before kayo kumain, hindi na siguro ma-drawing ang mukha nya pagbayad ng bill. I’m sure na high-blood sya sa ” plus, plus” na presyo hahahaha!
