John & Yoko Revisited

I know my policy is I will never repeat restaurants so I can give you, my FIVE (5) FOLLOWERS (insert guffaw here), a variety of food reviews. But sometimes, when it’s a good restaurant, I don’t really mind repeating.

Such is John & Yoko. My Lovey & I had a double date with our bffs Faye & Maxine yesterday. I’ve been so pre-occupied with ate lately that my Lavinia’s social life has taken a nose dive hehe. Thank you for being such a sport about it, sweetie! ;P

Faye suggested an early dinner at John & Yoko before our movie date yesterday. And since I enjoyed my last meal there, I didn’t pip a squeak! ;))

John & Yoko’s original branch is in Greenbelt 5 I believe, where my family & I first had our J&Y meal. Of course that’s way too far for a school night, so we stayed in our part of town. I’m happy that ATC is now so diversified! <3

I like the sound of “cosmopolitan japanese”.. sosi! ;P
I think (I’m not sure ha!) they have more food choices in GB5 since the one in ATC is really really small.
Half the size of the branch in GB5
I also love the “animalistic” atmosphere.. RAWR! ;))

Dynamite Roll (Spicy salmon top with slice salmon skin) 248.00
Chicken Teriyaki Roll (Chicken Teriyaki and Mango, topped with Slice chicken Teriyaki sauce) 188.00
BFFs for life! <3
Spicy Tuna Salad 218.00
They could have lessened the lettuce. It was an overkill.
The spicy salmon was ok.
I still love omakase’s & ariake’s best.
Yoko’s Flavored Sake (Lychee, green apple, caramel, cherry blossoms) 138.00
My VERY PETITE but packed Cherry Blossom Sake! <3
Ebi Tempura 368.00
Bacon Wrapped Dory 258.00
Salmon Sashimi (7 slices) 228.00
Tiramisu 158.00
I didn’t feel it..
Us VS. Them
We won, haha!

Then we watched WRECK IT RALPH. The girls are really still babies at heart. <3 When the credits came up, I was surprised to see Faye sniffing. I thought it was because she was cold -the aircon was turned a bit high in the cinema. But then, her eyes were SO PUFFY! :)) Oh-em-gee! Who cries at cartoons hahaha! I literally wanted to ROTF (roll on the floor) laughing!!!

Wreck-It Ralph is a 2012 American computer-animated action-comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It is the 52nd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series.
It features the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, and Jane Lynch.
Wreck-It Ralph tells the story of the arcade game villain who rebels against his role and dreams of becoming a hero. He travels between games in the arcade, and ultimately must eliminate a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph may have inadvertently started.

Too bad it was a weekday, so our double date was cut short right after the movie. Faye & I however, have another SHOPPING date tomorrow!!! YAY!!! <3 It’s CHRISTMAS SHOPPING TIME!!! m/ And NO KIDS!!! So we can actually CONCENTRATE! Yay (again)!!!

I got this email. I’M. SO. EXCITED! <3 <3 <3
