Finally! We were able to try iHop Philippines. Actually, ate already brought home a variety of pancakes & waffles for us to try as pasalubong a while back when the iHop franchise just opened at BGC. But it doesn’t count coz there’s just something about eating on breakable plates instead of styrofoams, and metal utensils instead of plastic spoon & fork that makes it a “real” dining experience. :P
So while ate was busy with her blockmates in QC doing a group project for school one afternoon, my Lovey & I snuck off to UP Town Center again & hung around iHop to finally check it off my list. But of course this was AFTER she checked out Cotton On. Girls & their never-ending shopping! @_@
UP Town Center, Katipunan Ave.,
iHop got mixed reviews when it initially opened. Some liked it, some did not. I think people were expecting too much. And there was a bit of a media hype that iHop was coming to the philippines, so the expectation was quite high. Personally, I find iHop’s pancakes really good & fluffy. <3 So that’s a LIKE for me! ;)
What can I say, this was the perfect high tea for me & my Lovey. Too bad they don’t have one in Alabang. iHop people, won’t you put one there too pretty please???
