Happy 14th Birthday, Lovey!

The “ber” months not only welcomes the impending holiday season, but also the birthdays of the people dearest & closest to my heart. It’s also the quarter when I’m the poorest, lels, with birthdays cropping up left & right on top of CHRISTmas. ;)

It started with my mom’s birthday last September, then my Hunnybun’s just a couple of weeks ago. And now it’s my baby love’s turn. She just turned 14 & we kicked off her birthday week with a surprise celebration at home with her friends 2 sundays ago.

I wanted to give her a nice meryenda cena or lunch party somewhere with her girl friends but she was adamant that she didn’t want any. However, after having surprised her friends one after the other, they simply didn’t allow my Lovey’s special day to be a “no-fuss/no-thrill” kind of day. So with their help, we staged a simple birthday hang-out at home 3 days short of her actual birthday (which is a school day).

I really thought she caught on with the plan coz she’s just so snoopy, but I was surprised when she got REALLY surprised as she came in the house from her bazaar visit haha! :P

Their good friend MARK was leaving for Cebu to study there for a year, so it was also good timing to give him a send-off! ;)

I tried giving them sushi & dainty tea sandwich in the past but they hardly touched my food offerings, so I though of going Shakey’s! :P After all, who doesn’t like all things greasy right? :P

Alyssa was so sweet to give my baby cupcakes from Vanilla Cupcake Bakery. I just LOVE the packaging. It’s so girly-girly! <3

This is MARK, a great twerker, who will be leaving for Cebu, and will be greatly missed by his girl friends.

My baby was so happy to see all her friends from her old & new school. <3 There are 3 missing, but there are other days. :)

As they grow older, they get simpler & veer away from elaborate, big, theme cakes. They prefer the dainty cupcakes, so I didn’t get my baby a cake anymore.

Sorry haha may plastic pa talaga!!! @_@

Party poppers always adds festive into any occasion. Available at any national bookstore outlets for only 50 php.

Baby girl, you cannot even begin to imagine the joy you have brought into my life just by being in it. You are my eternal ray of happiness & sunshine (except during your period where you turn into a raging psycho lel-JK!) I love you so very much & I will always be grateful for the gift of YOU!

Happy 14th Birthday, baby love!!! Don’t grow up too fast namaaaaannnn!!! <3

The pasta looks yummy, homecooked by your mayordoma or ordered from somewhere? My husband likes biglaan kainan here in the house & I always rely on Shakey’s for merienda & Conti’s for lunch/dinner. Please share naman your list of oorderan. Thanks, Sugar&Spice!
