Glorious Food

Summer has been a series of non-stop eating for us. The cost of eating out on an almost daily basis this school break could have sent us on a nice, somewhat modest summer vacation, me thinks! ;P

Monday – Little Quiapo

After my babyson’s orthodontist appointment, we stopped by for Little Quiapo’s famous pancit palabok & halo-halo after raiding Ruins for new dvds to keep the lil’ gators occupied.

Little Quiapo is a small obscure hole-in-the-wall cafe that seems to be popular in the BF area.
There was a steady stream of palabok take-outs.
Parking was a bitch though.
Their palabok was really good. No doubt about it.
Just the right amount of salty & saucy -the way I like it!
and cheap too! 166 php for 2 plates! ;)
My halo-halo special 120 php
Mais con hielo for my babyson 97 php
Tokwa con tokwa 60 php which I was surprised that my babyson liked.
My babyson, his braces, & I <3

Tuesday – Papa John’s

Passed by Papa John’s Pizzeria monday on our way home from the orthodontist, but my babyson wasn’t in the mood for pizza. I, on the other hand, have been salivating & thinking of it ever since. Didn’t reach my expectations, sad to say :(

Super Papa pizza 520 php
Nothing extraordinary about it, really.
Tastes like S&R pizza. And S&R has BIGGER, CHEAPER, YUMMIER pizza!
Skinny, teeny tiny chicken wings 150.89

Sorry, but I can’t even rate it 1 star. Which got us craving for a REAL chewy, stringy pizza! ;P That got us to..

Wednesday – Don Henrico’s

Before suffering through Mommy Returns with me..

I fed the girls a hearty, not-so healthy dinner at Don Henrico’s! So ate will be sleepy enough to not complain about the ham acting & stupid story line that always gets to me, and will leave me alone as I watch in stupefied & glorious wonder hahaha! She however, rolled her eyes at Lavinia & me whenever we let out a guffaw now & then! Oh Ate! :))

Homestyle onion rings 170 php
Nacho salad 420 php
3-pc Chicken ala Buffalo 380 php
10-inch Pizza Bianca 240 php

Tomorrow, we are watching DARK SHADOWS so dinner is not very far behind. I’m already excited at the thought! :))

An imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp), is set free and returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection.

Oh & let’s not forget Starbucks sometime last weekend.. where I met this lovely whoopie pie for the frist time! ;P

Sigh, my love affair with food. When will I ever get over you? :P
