I try to stay away from bazaars, especially the one in our neighborhood. I have a tendency to hoard & impulse buy so I stop myself from setting foot & getting myself into trouble again & again. And I’ve been good too. Last year, not once have I stepped inside a bazaar in Cuenca. Never. Then I read this on the AAV newsletter & my resolve vanished just like that. And it’s bazaar season in our village too.. FML! @_@
Ms. Piggy saw the word FOOD & merrily oinked & skipped all the way to the bazaar. KMN.
I dragged the kids to Cuenca 2 sundays ago to see the food truck invasion & do the necessary food trip of course. I told them we HAD to buy something from each truck for my blog. I didn’t have to say it twice, they happily obliged haha.
Chicken Pop Toppers 120 php. The 2 dishes we tasted were a far cry from what he serves in his resto. At best, I can describe them as “laman sa tiyan”. Disappointing really. I think he should veer away from food trucks.

AMAZING CONES. This food truck serves food that’s great if you’re on a stroll. Pizza cones are easier to eat than a slice of pie, and they’re just as yummy.

Again, I took this picture off their website. They didn’t come in a foodtruck at the Cuenca Bazaar but they do have a food truck which is available for rent in events.
The have adult-flavored gelatos such as Beer, Tequila Rose, and Bailey’s. I tried them all & lemme tell you, they taste like the real stuff! ;)
What glorious food tripping it was. I gotta make my sundays busy so I don’t get tempted & get lured back to my nasty bazaar-hopping habit. @_@ There will be weekly bazaars from here on out. Do visit us when you get the chance! ;)
