F21 Music Fest

Thanks to BFF Judith of Mastercard Philippines, we got invites again for the Forever 21 Fashion & Music Festival at the new & posh HYVE CLUB at W Global Center in BGC. Masaya na naman si ate & her girls. May ganap na naman sila! 😉 She studies hard, so I allow her to party hard. Minsan lang naman and she knows her limits.

Strictly by invitation. For 18 years old & above.
(photo & caption belongs to manilaclubbing.com)Hyve Manila is a new upscale club and lounge that opened in March 2013 at the top floor of the W Global Center in Bonifacio Global City. The club is gaining popularity quite fast and is currently one of Manila’s latest hotspots.

Every weekend Club Hyve has live performances by international guest DJs or female model DJs. Some of the DJs that have performed (or will be performing soon) are Jimmy Carris, Geri Sia, Hook N Sling, Minx, Jane Geri, Brooke Evers, DSharp, Sarah Robertson, Dimsum and DJ Riddler.

The music style in Hyve is currently mainly EDM (Electronic Dance Music).

Hyve Club is brought to you by the same people as Skye Lounge and is located at the 8th Floor of the W Global building, 9th Avenue, BGC (Bonifacio Global City), Taguig. For reservations, guest list, bottle service and table bookings text or call +63 917 633 5882

Ate wanted me to come along, but I was never a party girl then -I’m still not a party girl now. 😛 And they would SO enjoy the party more without their old mum tagging along & following them around.

Guests are encouraged to go in F21 clothes (syempre), but I told ate she needs to stand out. Mamaya pare-pareho ang damit nila, lels. I so love what she put together with the help of her stylist (ahem!) ;P

Thank you my babyson for being ate’s bodyguard & protector! :-*
He normally doesn’t like crowds & noise but he went coz I was worried about his ate.
I LOVE MY GORGEOUS TWINNIES!!! <3

Inspired by COACHELLA, Music Festivals have invaded the philippine scene. Normally, WHAT ONE SHOULD WEAR are laid-back outfits with a kick (imagine Vanessa Hudgens), but since this particular music fest was in a posh, upscale bar instead of the usual outdoor, grassy venue, ate leveled up her outfit choice to a custom maxi skirt & a fun top. I so approve her choice. <3

Wondering what to wear to music fests? Here are music festival must-haves: (photos grabbed from http://photos.dailybreeze.com/2013/04/photos-coachella-fashion/#6)

Women
Bralettes or bandeaus
Denim cutoffs
Crop tops
Any items featuring lace, fringe or crochet designs
Brightly-colored accessories
Men
Graphic tees and tanks
Jorts (jean shorts)
Cuffed pants
Baseball or Trucker Hat (almost any hat will do except a fedora… unless you’re Bruno Mars)
Brightly-colored sunglasses
Wanna know WHAT NOT TO WEAR??? 😉 CLICK HERE. I agree to all except for #4 & #9. I am SO for head dresses & floral headbands!!! C’mon now, that’s a classic. Don’t mess with the classic!

Hi Mchelle! <3 Yeah I told her to bring 2 skirts kasi sobra haba yung isa baka matisod sya, madami pa kasi sila pinuntahan before & after the musicfest. Good thing you didn't go it was too loud & too crowded daw haha, hindi na pwede sa mommies na sanay sa peace & quiet at lullabyes! ;))
