F1 was so nice to give me & my family a FORT SUITE -the biggest in the house. So all 5 of us fit comfortably in the room.
F1 Hotel Manila is the first hotel to open in Bonifacio Global City (Fort). It is located just across S&R Membership Shopping, and literally a stone’s throw away from St. Luke’s Medical Center. You can see the hotel from 32nd street but you have to take the Lane A to get to the main entrance.
We were given the Fort Suite so all 5 of us slept comfortably. This sofa turns into a bed & was used by the girls. We had an extra cot brought in for my babyson & there was still enough room to walk around. A room like this costs 9,450 php a night. An extra bed costs 1.5k/night. For a City Suite: 7,650 php For a Regular Room (Deluxe Twin or King): 6,750 php
The bed was thick & plush, the air-conditioning cool & constant, so we felt right at home & didn’t miss the comforts of our own home. <3
I loved the rain shower in our compact but modern & clean bathroom.
Merienda CenaFeaturing: Suman Festival. Make the most out of your afternoon break with F1 Hotel’s snack buffet featuring sticky rice from different regions of the country available from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM until April 30, 2014.Price: Php 295
A welcome treat awaited us as we stepped inside our suite. The kids who don’t normally eat kakanin enjoyed this sticky rice platter. This was gone in like 60 seconds! :P
An all-Filipino lunch was provided. The theme was LuzViMinda short for Luzon, Visayas and the Mindanao. I was happy to see oysters, lobsters, and flavored lechon bagnet on the spread as well as Papaitan. Certainly not a usual fare at hotel buffets. So we focused on those & had our fill. Executive Chef Sau del Rosario is the guy behind the Filipino special spread.
I skipped the rest & focused on this flavored bagnet. These are: Bringhe Stuffed Bagnet (Luzon), Dried Mango Stuffed Bagnet (Visayas) & Tablea Stuffed Bagnet (Mindanao)
Celebrity Chef Sau del Rosario at the Helm.
I had my fill of lobsters & oysters! <3 A Luzviminda Lunch Buffet costs 1,400 php/person. Dinner buffet (international fare) costs the same.
They have a Mongolian Station..
and a Pasta Station if you’re not too keen on Filipino food.
Kap super enjoyed the seafood spread & stayed until closing time even after all the other bloggers left! @_@
Meanwhile, my Lovey had the time of her life making her own crepe! :)
Thank you so much, GRACE, for putting that smile on my Lovey’s face and for being so patient in teaching her how to make a yummy crepe! <3
There is NEVER a dull moment with Ritchie. He kept us in stitches with his antics! ;))
This photo belongs to THE PICKIEST EATER Richie Zamora. Read his humorous post on the link I included above. :)
Since Lenten season was just around the corner, Chef Sau impressed us with a variety of seafood specials (ok & 1 chicken meal) for our light sit-down dinner.
Savor seafood dishes this Lenten Season. In commemoration of the Holy week, F1 Hotel Manila delights you with mouth-watering seafood dishes such as Steamed Baby Lapu-lapu Fillet with Mini Ratatouille, Lemon Capers Butter Emulsion and Saffron Potatoes for only P699
*International Buffet resumes on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014
Wild Mushroom and Silken Tofu Quiche, Organic Arugula and Micro Sprouts, Citrus Vinaigrette. I was concerned that my kids wouldn’t like this since it was made of Tofu. But it tasted like egg & they polished off their plates easily! :)
We had a choice each of either: Lemon and Rosemary Roasted Chicken, Haricot Vets, Onion and Apple Marmalade, Roasted Potatoes
Or Steamed Baby Lapu-lapu Fillet, Mini Ratatouille, Lemon Capers Butter Emulsion, Saffron Potatoes
Or Tofu Agedashi, Vegetable Pasta, Nori Shreds, Teriyaki Sauce, and Forbidden Rice Pilaf
Caramelized and Spiced Pineapple Tatin, Toasted Almonds, Vanilla Ice Cream
This staycation was such a blessing. The kids just finished school so this was a timely celebration to kick off summer! m/

Because Ate turns exorcist (remember we covered that area in THIS post) if she doesn’t get her daily gym fix, she trod on with a half asleep brother in tow early in the morning to burn whatever there is left for her to burn in her new summer hot bod! ;)
She’s worked really hard for this new body & I am just so proud of what she has accomplished. She’s put so much hard work, determination & discipline to get these buns. Living on baked kamote, chicken & salmon for months on end.
