F1 Hotel Manila Revisited: United Taste of America

It was a very pleasant surprise when I got a call from Paulo Esmedilla, Marketing man of F1 Hotel Manila. It was an impromptu invite for another staycation at their lovely hotel. So timely too as someone I love so very much was feeling blue & out of sorts. So this was the perfect pick-me-upper for the weekend. <3

F1 Hotel Manila is the gold building in the middle across S&R BGC.

We arrived late, almost 2PM & we just barely caught the end of lunch as I had another event that morning. It was a crazy day of going back & forth Alabang-BGC-Alabang-BGC because I also had to go back to meet with the CROSSFIT MANILA team that afternoon. But it was so worth it as I had the 3 kids with me the whole time, which doesn’t happen very often. They are such a great support group! <3

With PR man PAULO ESMEDILLA who always sees to it that we have a jolly good time at F1 Hotel Manila! Thank you Paulo for always taking care of us & our needs. :-*

As always, we attacked the Japanese station first. :)

My happy & colorful all-seafood & Paleo Manila-approved plate. All raw, steamed, or grilled. I’m really happy with all the choices F1 Hotel Manila has afforded me.

F1 Hotel Manila is celebrating UNITED TASTE OF AMERICA so there was a huge turkey carving. That of course, I partook of. Anything hunted, caught, or gathered, I am able to eat freely provided they are grilled, roasted, or steamed. For a healthy me! <3

My babyson loved the turkey leg. <3 #eatlikeacaveman

I love it when my kids are all smiling & happy. When they are sad, it just breaks my heart into a million little pieces. I would do anything & everything to always make their world right. <3

F1 Hotel Manila also has a supervised make-your-own-churros which makes it safe for kids (or adults like me who don’t know how to cook, lels).

And my kids gamely tried making their own churros for my blog! ;)) I told you they are ever supportive of their mommy.

After a quick lunch, we hurriedly checked-in to our spacious Fort Suite at the 10th floor before going back to Alabang again for my afternoon meeting.

The FORT SUITE of F1 Hotel Manila can accommodate all 5 of us nicely. This living room has a sofa that converts into a double bed for the girls. I just requested for an extra cot & beddings for my babyson.

The FORT SUITE has a dinette & dining room area which is really convenient for weary or busy travelers who just want to stay in.

Our bed which we gratefully sunk into at the end of a very long day. The air-conditioning units in both rooms were cool & silent which gave way to a very deep & relaxing slumber.

Dinner was leisurely & we were able to catch up with Paulo for a long chat after we came back at around 8:30 PM. Thankfully, buffet closes at 10PM so we had 1.5 hours to just sit back, chika, and relax.

I had a lovely vinaigrette dressed ham & duck salad while Kap & the kids attacked the Roast Beef which is our usual Sunday fare.

Paulo also treated Kap & I to a couples massage. It was like our honeymoon all over again.. but with 3 little piggies next door! ;P

Our night was just soooo amazing that we woke up so late the next morning & barely made it again to our next meal! GAAAAH!

Having Waffles & Pancakes is always a good way to start your morning. <3

DSC05408

These bread looked so yummy. But carb indulgence is a no-no in my Paleo Manila diet, so I said a quick goodbye to my old friends. ;)

DSC05414

I stuck to mostly eggs & fruits. But no complaints, I super enjoyed my big breakfast.

DSC05415

Since we were so late, all the seats in the dining room were taken. But the very friendly & hospitable staff set up 2 tables for us at the Lobby & we were seated quickly & efficiently.

What’s nice about F-All Day Dining is you can ask them to whip up anything & they will do their best to make you happy. Here I asked for 3 Egg Benedicts for my kids & they delivered with aplomb.

Just look at that gorgeous runny egg! <3

Beverages of your choice is also available during breakfast from juices to coffee or tea.

A hearty breakfast called for a small stroll around the pool area so we could soak up some sun. F1 Hotel Manila has 3 swimming pools in different sizes & depths to fit your needs…

There is also a bar, called the CANARY LOUNGE to quench your thirst.

We had to end our staycation right after breakfast since we had to meet up with my uncle who came from London. That’s up next! I can’t wait to introduce him to you. I  haven’t seen him for 20 long years so this was a wonderful treat! <3

OMG the kids eyes grew wide upon seeing that bagful of pasalubong. Naloka sila! ;))

Thank you Paulo, and F1 Hotel Manila for your graciousness & hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay with you, and like I said, it came at the most opportune time. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! <3
