Food & Dining My Kids Sponsored Posts

Costa Coffee

My cousin RICHARD has always been generous in sharing his invites & latest finds with the GOppets. Since I met him, he has taken me under his wing & has made me his perennial sidekick, lels. Which works out just fine because between him & Irene and me & Kap, it’s like we’re always just double dating lang lagi.

Kap & I are great food adventurers so ever since meeting my long lost cousin, we have eaten far & wide and discovered so many wonderful (and sometimes not so wonderful -but the company makes up for it) dining places. I always joke that I should partner up with his Tales from the Tummy. Mine will be Tales from the Heart. ;))

This time around, he had us tag-along to Costa Coffee. Kap had to take care of something important so my Lovey went with me instead. Perfect too because according to her, Costa Coffee is super popular with Youtubers (and you know she has a thing with them!) so she was happy to be mommy’s plus one!

Costa Coffee was founded in London by Sergio and Bruno Costa back in the 70’s as a wholesale operation supplying roasted coffee to caterers and specialist Italian coffee shops. Acquired by Whitbread in 1995, it has since grown to over 2,861 stores across 30 countries. The business has 1,755 UK restaurants, over 3,500 Costa Express vending facilities and a further 1,106 outlets overseas. Good news to coffee lovers, Costa Coffee has reached Philippine shore. In Eastwood City, the 2-storey Costa Coffee is London-styled, with Union Jack upholstered sofas & a replica of the vintage red telephone box just outside its door.

Costa Coffee is known for their espresso-based coffee using their signature Mocha Italia Original Blend -a mix of arabica & robusta roasted slowly at room temperature resulting in a smooth, round, rich taste without the bitterness. And their famous Flat White Coffee.

We don’t normally venture to Eastwood. If not for Costa Coffee, we wouldn’t even go this far. But since it’s been popping up in my feed all month long, my curious Lovey & I braved the traffic & distance for a cup of coffee.. at iba pa!

Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc (RRHI) through its wholly owned subsidiary Robinsons Gourmet Food and Beverage Inc. will soon be opening more branches in Robinson’s Ermita, Tera Towers, the Flagship store at One World building Bonifacio Global City, and Robinsons Antipolo. All within the year. Hopefully soon in my hometown of Alabang too!
