City of Dreams Manila

The GOppets were finally able to visit City of Dreams Manila last Sunday and based on what we saw, save for DREAMPLAY, the indoor theme park & recreation area which will REPORTEDLY open February 02, 2015 -and unless you check into any of the 3 hotels at City of Dreams, there is really nothing for the kids to do except to eat in the specialty restaurants.. which I feel they won’t really enjoy as the food served are not kid-friendly. I feel that City of Dreams is more for the adult (gambling) crowd.

DreamPlay is a fully immersive, technology-rich entertainment space where families can create, play, and learn together with their favourite dream works character.

City of Dreams Manila is a casino, hotel, retail and entertainment integrated resort with six hotel towers, including an approximately 260-room Crown Towers Hotel and the first Nobu Hospitality Hotel in Asia.

City of Dreams Manila will also have specialty restaurants and shops, as well as bars, gaming facilities and three distinctive entertainment venues including Manila’s first branded Family Entertainment Center, a live performance central lounge inside the casino, and a night club, Pangaea Manila. In my excitement, I forgot to take a photo of the outside. But just click on the name and it will take you to the Facebook page for all the details.

Thank you so much Aldrin for your patience in taking us around & dealing with such a naughty & noisy group! :P

Aldrin suggests that if you will book, get the rooms in WING 2. Not this wing as you will have to walk a long way to the pool area.. in your robe & slippers.

The Standard Room. The most basic room which starts from 7-9k depending on the season. As you can see, it’s quite small. And it has no bathtub, just a shower.

My models. Pwede silang magsiksikan on a bed actually. It’s not like they’re going to sleep when they’re together! :P

Wing 2. It’s on the other side so there is a bit of a walk. This is where the Club Rooms are, and also the Club Lounge where for a minimal additional fee, you get access to the Lounge (see below) & complimentary breakfast, snacks, and pre-dinner cocktails.
