City of Dreams Manila

The GOppets were finally able to visit City of Dreams Manila last Sunday and based on what we saw, save for DREAMPLAY, the indoor theme park & recreation area which will REPORTEDLY open February 02, 2015 -and unless you check into any of the 3 hotels at City of Dreams, there is really nothing for the kids to do except to eat in the specialty restaurants.. which I feel they won’t really enjoy as the food served are not kid-friendly. I feel that City of Dreams is more for the adult (gambling) crowd.

DreamPlay is a fully immersive, technology-rich entertainment space where families can create, play, and learn together with their favourite dream works character.

City of Dreams Manila is a casino, hotel, retail and entertainment integrated resort with six hotel towers, including an approximately 260-room Crown Towers Hotel and the first Nobu Hospitality Hotel in Asia.

City of Dreams Manila will also have specialty restaurants and shops, as well as bars, gaming facilities and three distinctive entertainment venues including Manila’s first branded Family Entertainment Center, a live performance central lounge inside the casino, and a night club, Pangaea Manila. In my excitement, I forgot to take a photo of the outside. But just click on the name and it will take you to the Facebook page for all the details.

Erwin’s Gastrobar.

APU, A filipino-themed restaurant.

PREGO Italian Restaurant & beside it is the soon-to-open steakhouse, RUBY JACK’s.

O Kitchen which serves Korean Food.

The Ciy of Dreams Manila sets a new standard in hospitality by having 3 hotels & 6 towers. 2 are operational now, Hyatt & Nobu which we were able to visit. Crown is by invitation only so we didn’t get to see it. Boohoo. #kulangsapowers

Chillax mode while we waited for Aldrin to take us around.

Thank you so much Aldrin for your patience in taking us around & dealing with such a naughty & noisy group! :P

Aldrin suggests that if you will book, get the rooms in WING 2. Not this wing as you will have to walk a long way to the pool area.. in your robe & slippers.

The Standard Room. The most basic room which starts from 7-9k depending on the season. As you can see, it’s quite small. And it has no bathtub, just a shower.

My models. Pwede silang magsiksikan on a bed actually. It’s not like they’re going to sleep when they’re together! :P

Wing 2. It’s on the other side so there is a bit of a walk. This is where the Club Rooms are, and also the Club Lounge where for a minimal additional fee, you get access to the Lounge (see below) & complimentary breakfast, snacks, and pre-dinner cocktails.

Another mirror!!! Gah! Of course we couldn’t resist! :P This is why we are family, lels! <3

The Club Lounge. Happy smiles. A bonus that you get when you upgrade. ;)

The DELUXE King/Twin. Much roomier and with a bath tub. Pay additional for an upgrade to the Club Lounge all-access.

Yes, nang-bulabog talaga kami! ;)) So you have an idea how big & comfy the room is!

The GYM is also in WING 2 so make sure that’s the wing you book if you plan on being active during your stay.

The Infinity Pool that extends all the way to the other side. Tagusan from Nobu Hotel to Hyatt. It’s THAT long.

Yep. It definitely screams pogi points! \m/ Your date will be VERY impressed.

And as we were all walking towards the exit, I heard these two ladies planning which restaurant we’re trying on our next food trip, AND soon. Mga hija.. alam na ba nga mga tatay nyo yang plano nyong yan??? :))
