Cafe Mediterranean

As I had predicted, we had to go back for school supplies the 3rd time after orientation at their new school. I’m beginning to hate even the thought of National Bookstore now. It’s always sooooo crowded & the line is always sooooo long. Nakakasuya nang magpabalik-balik!!! @_@ The kids, on the other hand, find the bookstore their heaven on earth.

What pose is that Bey? Nahawa ka na kay kuya??? ;P

Yesterday, it was a Lovey-&-Mommy-only day. I have 3 kids so making them feel that each one is important in their own special way takes a bit of an effort. Not to mention MAGASTOS. I strongly suggest a one-on-one date if you have more than 2 kids. You get to have a deep, meaningful conversation individually and they really feel special when you have eyes & ears only for them for even just a day.

After our bout with hell (yes, the bookstore!), I treated my Lovey to meryenda at Cafe Mediterranean. She is somewhat adventurous when it comes to food so I knew I could get away with taking her somewhere exotic. ;P

This is how we “roll”, get it? ;))
Mediterranean Pasta 295 php
Sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, grilled eggplant and zucchini, anchovies on penne

We found this bland though, in spite of the heavy anchovies & sun-dried tomatoes.

My babylove & me. <3
I love spending one-on-one time with the kids. I get to discover their uniqueness.
We loved the appetizer (hummus) and the Gyros, or rather the special sauces (found on the table) bursting with spices & flavors that accompanied the dishes. The pasta was ho-hum which we took home so it wouldn’t go to waste. And I can’t say that dessert is their strongest suit.

Love you, my baby girl. I had so much fun doing our chores & spending the day with you. You’re such a dalaga now -time flies by so fast, you have so many lakad na with your friends. I hope there won’t come a time that you won’t want to spend time with your old mommy anymore. I hope there won’t come a time that you won’t need me anymore. You will always be my babylove, and my heart will always beat for you!! <3
