Buffet 101 Revisited

I’m not a basketball fan. Even before when my hunny bunny played for our school team, I never did know what was going on in the court. Until now, I still can’t figure it out. I just cheer with the rest whenever I watch my babyson in his games.
I was quite surprised when ate told me she wanted to watch a UAAP game on saturday. Like, really? Since when did you LIKE basketball? (Not that her CRUSH is playing.) Turns out it’s going to be quite an exciting game this saturday..

In line at USTE, online, and even in the Arena itself!
We went there early this morning to buy tickets for the princess.
No such luck, soweeeee ate! :((

So we just ate at the nearby Buffet 101,
para hindi sayang ang gas! :P
And LOOK who’s in a good mood, nang-libre!
My Kapitan K!!! <3
Impromptu date. Yay! ;)
After thoroughly checking each buffet table, we chose this as our starter.
SWAHE!
From alive..
to DEAD in 60 seconds!
Poor shrimps. Never knew what hit them.
Aaaack!
How can you eat this.. TELL ME! @_@
We shared a plate so we can taste ALL! <3
After attacking the swahe, we went on to chinese & dimsum.
In fairness, masarap ang siomai nila! :)
The sticky rice was disappointing thought coz it had little bits of ham as stuffing instead of ground pork.
The wrap had chicken since they didn’t have duck, but the hoisin sauce allowed us to pretend like it was duck.
Shakes & other drinks were, of course, free
(or part of the price, rather)
Our third plate. On to japanese! <3
Don’t expect 5-star quality sushi & sashimi.
The price after all, is 700/head.
Dream on.
After that, it was a whirl of food after food.
We tried everything that caught our fancy.
The best part of our date? Sharing everything! <3
That’s abalone on the rightmost (the orange stuff)
and shelled scallops beside it.
Oysters which could have seen better & BIGGER days! ;)
Pastry puff soup.
Roast beef.. except that we were too STUFFED already! ;)
Ooooohhh.. I’m soooo crushing on my date! <3
GUMMIES!!! <3
and SPRINKLES!!! <3
Fruit & cake overload.

Frankly, I have never been & will never be a fan of Vikings, Buffet 101, yakimix & the like. I think their food is really too commercialized. But the company? That, I LOVED!  ;)
