A Jazzy Sunday Brunch at The Oakwood Premier Manila

I have to admit, I’ve never been to OAKWOOD PREMIER Manila. I’ve heard of it, but I’ve never set foot inside. Blame it in the probinsyana in me. Ortigas in a whole new zone I have yet to conquer. :P

When RICHIE & RINA posted pretty pictures of their latest staycation, I was BEYOND impressed with the grandeur & beauty of the rooms. It screamed posh! So when The Bossman asked if my family (yes, including the kids!!!) & I wanted to indulge in a Jazzy Sunday Brunch at The Oakroom of Oakwood Premier Manila, I didn’t even ask Kap. I gave my sweet YES to the boss right there & then.

Normally, Sundays are reserved for church & family. Kap & I have an agreement that no one goes out unless we go as a family on Sundays. But since it WAS going to a family brunch (again, YES! with the kids!! <3 ), I didn’t think Kap would mind. I figured we’d go to church in the evening, and all worked out pretty well too, to my delight -and relief. Coz you know, the Head leads, the Neck follows -or so he thinks!. ;P

The Oakroom is Oakwood Premier Manila’s signature restaurant, clothed in warm browns and earth tones with views to the city. It offers a fine selection of international cuisine by French Executive Chef Jerome Cartailler who uses natural and the freshest seasonal ingredients to present an excellent range of choices, from Filipino and Asian favorites to gourmet classics and healthy options. The Oakroom has three private rooms that can accommodate six up to 15 persons for dining. It is open 6:00 am to 11:00 pm daily.

Aside from this beautiful oak-finished Dining Hall, venues for banquets and conferences at Oakwood Premier Manila include two ballrooms with a capacity of up to 200 persons each. They are divisible into smaller meeting venues and together with two other boardrooms, comprise ideal multi-purpose event areas supported by Genesis Business Services.

Can I just say? Oakwood Premier Manila’s Sunday Brunch is PERFECT for people like me who like to wake up late on lazy weekends because their brunch starts at 12 noon, and ends at 3 pm! Like I said, perfect right? No need to rush or set your alarm so you don’t miss the complimentary breakfast while checked in. You can wake up leisurely at your own pace, stretch, and laze around before finally heading down. This time slot is also perfect if you want to attend church first before partaking of the bounty.
