Ate deemed yesterday a pretty useless day in school. Just P.E. & some minor subjects, so of course being the kunsintidora mum that I am, we played hookie on a school day & decided to go on an adventure! Hoorah for ANDERSON!! <3 I wish the 2 kids would also play hookie but they are just sooooo serious with school-that’s a good thing though, right? ;P Bad mommy!

Of course, Topshop’s MEGA SALE didn’t have anything to do with her desire to skip school! Oh no, not my shopaholic daughter! ;)

I decided to put SPECTRUM at the Fairmont on hold until the rest of the fambam are available to share the new experience with us. Somebody’s birthday is coming up, after all. *insert pant mode here! ;)

So, armed with my precious TOP 115 BOOK, ate & I poured through every single page until finally coming to agreement that we should definitely give BISTRO FILIPINO by Chef Laudico a visit. (And the best thing is, since the dishes are filipino fusion, the 2 younger kids wouldn’t feel bad because they’re not into fine dining, lalo na fusions haha.) And I’m just so glad that we did. It was truly a gastronomic experience ate & I shall never forget! m/

Before going there, ate & I agreed that we will both try the Ala Carte All You Can which is divided into 2 categories. (For a complete list of their menu, CLICK HERE)

At first, I wanted to try the one that included Wagyu & Prawns at 1,288+ php. But after carefully browsing through the menu & discussing the difference with our server, I saw that these were only 2 dishes compared to everything else you can sample on their menu.
So for your first time at the Bistro, I would strongly recommend that you get the 788+ php set & get the more expensive option the next time you go. When you’ve more or less sampled everything else! :)

I can say with glee that we made the right choice. You can NEVER sample everything on your first go! @_@ There was simply too much wonderful dishes to try. And that’s saying a lot coz you know I’m such a bottomless pit. LELs!

Here are the pictures from our lunch date.. I’m drooling as I upload! I promise, you will too. Don’t hate me. ;P Be prepared ha, I have A LOT of photos on this post! :)
