Food & Dining My Kids

Ladies Night Out at 71 Gramercy

When we celebrate something or someone, we don’t do it just once. Mahirap maka-let Go at maka-move on ang mga GOppets. :P We do it in several stages to prepare & ma-feel talaga, lels.

Like the case of my Lovey’s BTS (back to school). A week before school started, we had been dealing with each outing like it were the last for the summer. We really have a dramatic flair. Sunod-sunod na BTS or last summer hurrah celebration starting from HERE (UCC Clockwork) to HERE (Crystal Jade) and many more that followed since! Walang katapusan, siguro my Lovey felt like.. hay, pwede ba BTS already! :P

So the Friday evening before she we back to school, I treated my loves to a Girls’ Night Out –Fine Dining at 71 Gramercy. Something shmancy fancy para feel talaga ang celebration ng freedom ni Ate for 2 whole months, and penitensya naman ni Lovey ng 21 months! The last time Kap & I went there we were greatly impressed, so I knew for a fact that the girls would be too.

We didn’t make a reservation on a Friday night so we made sure to go early. We were there at 6pm on the dot. Good thing the lady downstairs allowed us entry even without a reservation. I strongly suggest that you make one to be sure.

The lovely decor with a splendid view from the 71st floor guaranteed an awesome night ahead.

My 2 girls explored while I looked over the menu & ordered our food. What a beautiful sunset. <3 God is truly amazing.

Kap & I dined outdoors before so I didn’t go out anymore. I didn’t want to cramp the style of my 2 young girls na kasama ang nanay nila sa 71 Gramercy! :P

My girls, especially Ate, are pretty OC. Perfectionist sila so it really takes a while for pictures to be taken! :P

May matching food styling & table setting pa talaga. Gutom na ako!

Foie Gras butter for our bread.

My Lovey’s Tagliatelle Truffle Carbonara 320 php. Truffle cream, crisp prosciutto, 62 degree egg & parmesan. As I expected, she loved it!

Ate’s Norwegian Salmon 580 php with Miso-Ponzu glaze packed with umami flavor and side salad.

My Gramercy Burger 660 php. 200 grams of ground US Angus beef chuck, rib eye & short rib in a home-made brioche bun with gruyere cheese, mushrooms, foie gras & fries. I would really recommend this to anyone who would listen. Look..

It’s always fun hanging with my girls. Daughters truly are icing on the cake. <3

yeah.. daughters. This is what they do.. ;))

Ate’s 2 month break is going fast. She only has ONE month left before she too goes BTS. :'(( My Lovey’s class is only until 2:30 pm so we still have some of the day left for afternoon delight with Ate before she goes back to her own form of penitensya. ;) So I guess our BTS celebration for Ate will take 1-month long. Fast track na!
