Food & Dining The GOppets

A-Won Korean Restaurant

So after our new year’s steak lunch in Tagaytay, Kap decided to spend the night in Anilao with the 2 older kids instead of driving the next day so they can have an early dive kinabukasan. Bagong taon na bagong taon, hindi ko type magdusa. So my Lovey & I opted to stay behind.

Anilao is very rocky, which is why my Lovey & I just chose to stay behind. If you aren’t diving, there isn’t much to do except twiddle your thumb. You can’t go leisurely swimming -you’ll come out of the water with deep gashes & wounds if you do.

My beautiful mermaid who finds diving fun & therapeutic. Even though I always fear for their safety, I let them be. They deserve to have some fun. Bio is such a hard course.

The super friends all grown up. Do you still remember them?

The house wasn’t as empty without Kap & the giblings now that mom & her posse are around. So my little one & I weren’t so sad & feeling alone in their absence. CHAR! Of course Kap & I missed each there, hello!

Yun bang.. ang tatanda nyo na pero nag-uutuan pa rin kayo! #ligawligawdinpagmaytime Since 1986 – 30 years this year & still going strong. <3

To keep damp spirits at bay, I decided to take my Lovey out on a dinner date. Pagkakataon naming 2 mag-Korean! Kap & 2/3 of the giblings are not fond of Korean food, so swakto our mother-daughter bonding.

Diners were mostly Korean nationals, with a Korean manager to boot. So I knew immediately that we were in for some authentic Korean chow. \m/
