Well, my family -more specifically ATE knows I can never do it on my own. So she gifted me with 2 various weekly detox/cleansing plans from THE SEXY CHEF just to get the ball rolling. Again. :|

I’m so embarrassed. I have fallen off the wagon more times than I can count. I wasted 6 months of my previous diet that was working for me simply because I love the good life waaaay too much. I can’t keep myself away from great-tasting & rich food, to my chagrin.

The South Beach Diet Program – A low-carbohydrate and high-protein diet plan that draws inspiration from the diet developed by Dr. Arthur Agatson. This program is a protein rich diet that has clients eating small meals rich in lean protein throughout the day that help the body battle and regulate hunger. In this meal plan, carbohydrates are kept at aminimum with meals consisting of lean protein, good fats and high fiber.

P 975.00 per day inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, 2 Snacks and Dessert delivered daily. Minimum of 7-Day Enrolment

The Pounds Away Diet Program – A nutritionally balanced nutrient dense calorie controlled program which is based on the principle of eating the right food at the right time in the right portions. It is a calorie-controlled eating plan (1,200 cal/day or 1,400 cal/day)  that includes all food groups. Now, also fortified with the Fat-Fighting 4 Nutrients – Calcium, Fiber, Omega 3 Fatty Acid and Vitamin D.

P 1,000.00 per day inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and 2 Snacks delivered daily. Minimum of 7-Day Enrollment

The Paleo Diet program – an eating plan that focuses on all-natural foods to help you stay lean, strong and energetic! The latest research indicates that it is our modern diet full of refined foods, trans fats and sugar that is at the root of obesity, cancer, diabetes, and many other diseases.

P 975.00 per day inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and 1 Snack delivered daily. Minimum of 7-Day Enrolment.

The Vegetarian Meal Package

The Sexy Chef’s Vegetarian Menu features dishes that are made with the freshest vegetables, fruits and whole grains like whole-wheat bread and pasta and organic brown rice. They also offer 2 menu options under this program that is available year-round. The client may mix and match the meals according to the menu available that day. Orders for this package must be placed on or before 12 noon a day before delivery.

The 350-Cal Dine Lite Meals

The Dine Lite Meals are 350-calorie meals. There are two menu options for this package – Option A is a cycle menu that changes every month while Option B is the all-time favorite meals that are available year-round. The client can also mix and match the meals according to the menu specified for that day. Orders for this package can be placed at least a day before delivery on or before 12 noon.

The 5-day package is P 2,150 and the 7-day package is P 3,000.

350-Cal Healthy Bento

The Sexy Chef’s newest, budget-friendly offering – healthy bento box lunch and dinner meals that contain just 350 calories or less. Even more affordable than the Dine Lite 350 Calorie Meals, they are just as nutritious and delicious. But unlike Dine Lite, it features a fixed daily menu.

Only P 1,750 for a 5-day lunch and dinner package inclusive of delivery. Orders must be placed on or before 12 noon 2 days before delivery.

I’ve been eating out non-stop the past couple of weeks enjoying fried, fatty, and sugary food, and my little mother is NOT happy with me.  Thus this round of cleansing diet from The Sexy Chef. :|

She sat me down & requested that I stop going out for a week, 5 days at the very least, just so I can cleanse my system from all the good food vis-a-vis bad toxins that is residing in my body from too much of a good life.

For my first week, she got me the..

EAT CLEAN DETOX PLAN which is designed to promote weight loss, recharge the body and flush out toxins with nutrient packed and easy to digest food. Lately, because of all the eating I’ve been doing (again), I’ve been having acid reflux all day & all night and being lethargic even in the morning. It’s not a very good feeling. So I agreed.

The EAT CLEAN DETOX PLAN Meal is a 5-day nutrient dense vegan (no meat, no animal products) detox plan that gives your body a “break” from flesh foods, preservatives, refined sugars, dairy, wheat, and hydrogenated oils.  Combined with detoxifying juices from Juju Cleanse, this program will clean out your system while slimming you down fast! After the 5 day cleanse, I hope to feel lighter, more energized, and have reduced cravings for junk food.

The Eat Clean Detox Plan costs P1,000.00 per day inclusive of Lemon Water, Breakfast, Lunch, Detox Juice from JUJU Cleanse, 1 Snack and Dinner delivered daily.

What does the 5-day EAT-ing CLEAN look like? My 5 days start with a cup of  warm calamansi juice.


To easily reap the benefits, just squeeze the juice from 6-8 calamansi balls into a glass of lukewarm water. If you want, you can add a little honey too or stevia (artificial sweetener). Drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and wait 30 minutes before eating your breakfast.

Day 1

Breakfast: Warm calamansi water and Avgolemono soup with Flax. (Greek style lemon porridge.

Snack 1: #JujuEats Qcumber Quench (soooo refreshing. I like!) Lunch: Hearty chickpea soup & Romaine salad with pine nuts and cranberries drizzled with balsamic dressing.

Snack 2: Mais con hielo black rice pudding with pinipig.

Dinner: Soba Noodles






Day 2

Breakfast: Warm calamansi water and Raw muesli with chia seeds.

Snack 1: Pineapple with chia.

Lunch: Shitake mushroom burger & rainbow salad with creamy sesame.

Snack 2: Jicama sticks with mexican bean dip.

Dinner: Vegetarian ramen.







Day 3

Breakfast: Warm calamansi water & banana flaxseed pancakes with coconut syrup.

Snack 1: #JujuEats Atoic carrot.

Lunch: Miso soup & vegan sushi.

Snack 2: Organic baked kamote chips with vegan boursin cheese with Mr. Potato Head looking on.

Dinner: Bean & corn chili & garden salad with lemon vinaigrette.






Day 4

Breakfast: Warm calamansi water & Malunggay asian rice.

Snack 1: Juju Eats Qcumber quench (love it!) Lunch: Curried roasted eggplant soup & greek salad with tofu feta & tomato.

Snack 2: Rawlicious mango trifle.

Dinner: Vegetarian pad thai.






Day 5

Breakfast: Warm calamansi water & Scrambled tofu with cauliflower rice.

Snack 1: Pineapple with chia.

Lunch: Sweet potato & ginger soup, and Pomelo salad with oriental dressing.

Snack 2: Vegetable crudite with hummus.

Dinner: Penne pomodoro with tofu meatballs & vegan parmesan cheese.







I have to admit that after 5 days going vegan, I really felt lighter & my acid reflux was more controlled. My energy level was up. But I don’t know if I can go meatless indefinitely & sustain this all-veggie lifestyle.
